LET'S GET TO KNOW MORE ABOUT MS. AVERY.......

-How did you come up with the idea for this story?
Jake Ryan. You know Jake RyanSixteen Candlesthe guy every girl in the world has had a crush onOK, at least I did. Well, the actor who played Jake disappeared off the scene a few movies later and is a carpenter or something in Pennsylvania now and doesnt give interviews. I read a where-is-he-now article and started thinking about how crazy it would be if there was a movie star in hiding living next door. Boom! I had the secret my strong-and-silent brewmaster, Sean, was hiding.
-Will you write more about the characters in Hollywood on Tap?
Absolutely! Theres a third Sweet triplet who needs her story to be toldand let me tell you that girl is trouble with a capital T. Salvation wont ever know whats hit it.
-What is for you the perfect book hero?
Hes strong, a smartass and totally alpha. Hes brainy as well as brawny and he just cant back away from a challengeever. He may not always do the right thing, but when it counts hes in the heroines corner and will move heaven and earth if she needs him to.
-What are your current projects?
Im finishing up a fractured fairytale novella for an anthology that will come out early next year as well as putting the final touches on my latest Killer Style book, Make Me Up, which will come out in February. I am in alpha hero heaven.
-Tell us something that people would be surprised you know how to do.
I can tie a cherry stem into a knot with my tongue. Yes, I do have the most useless talent known to man. :)

For years, Sean O’Dell has hidden his past as a Hollywood heartthrob from everyone at the Sweet Salvation Brewery. However, the arrival of nosey efficiency expert Natalie Sweet threatens the status quo. It doesn’t help that with her glasses, buttoned-up sweaters and always pulled-back hair that she’s uncovered one secret already: His attraction for hot librarian types.
Natalie has had enough of the strong-and-silent Sean submarining her efforts to change the brewery for the better. She’s ready to do whatever it takes to make her vision a reality, even if that means taking down the pig-headed and too-hot-for-his-own-good brewmaster.
Sizzling attraction battles stubborn determination as Natalie and Sean go head to head in a battle that’s anything but business as usual.

EXCERPT:

Natalie refused to down the rest of her beer in one gulp, no matter how badly she wanted to relieve the hundredyear drought in her mouth.
Sean wasnt the first man shed seen shirtless in all his Apollolike glory and, God willing, he
wouldnt be the last. Still, the sight of his six pack and hard pecs wouldnt be something shed forget anytime soon and, for once, she couldnt think of a damn thing to say.
They just stared at each other, heat as potent as anything they brewed up at the Sweet Salvation
Brewery nuking the air between them.
Look away, Natalie. Look away!
But she didnt. Even blinking became a crime against nature. She took in his broad, welldefinedshoulders, the thick muscles curving his biceps, and the trail of dark hair that traveled from his
bellybutton to behind the top button of his low slung jeans. Her bra tightened, the unlined lace
chaffing her hard nipples, and a honeythick river of desire flowed through her veins until her heart pounded like a kettledrum in her ears.
Ill be right back.” Sean spun on his heel, his rubbersoled work boots squeaking against the
polished wood floor, and took off up the metal staircase leading to the loft.
He was gone before the first embarrassed flush bloomed in her cheeks, but once it did, the sun paled in comparison to the heat making her face pulse. Her fingers flew across the pearl necklace in time with her rushed heartbeat, and her eyes darted around Seans house.
The exposed bricks that should look worn and dirty instead seemed raw and unflinching. The
unapologetic simplicity of the openspace design offered up a whatyouseeiswhatyouget vibe.
Add to it the slategray, dustyred, and wrought iron color palette that didnt have even a dab of
compromise. All of it together was a testosterone palace screaming out at Natalie that she didnt
belong here.
Like she didnt know that already.
She needed to ignore the giddy feeling in her stomach that started whenever she was near Sean
and finish what she came here to do. Then she could get the hell away from Sean, his dudes dude house, and his sinfully lickolicious abs.

AUTHOR INFO:

Avery Flynn has three slightly-wild children, loves a hockey-addicted husband and is desperately hoping someone invents the coffee IV drip.
She fell in love with romance while reading Johanna Lindsey’s Mallory books. It wasn’t long before Avery had read through all the romance offerings at her local library. Needing a romance fix, she turned to Harlequin’s four books a month home delivery service to ease the withdrawal symptoms. That worked for a short time, but it wasn’t long before the local book stores’ staffs knew her by name.
Avery was a reader before she was a writer and hopes to always be both. She loves to write about smartass alpha heroes who are as good with a quip as they are with their *ahem* other God-given talents. Her heroines are feisty, fierce and fantastic. Brainy and brave, these ladies know how to stand on their own two feet and knock the bad guys off theirs.

  1. I really liked both of the blurbs to these two books. The opposites attract story in your latest one sounds so interesting. I always wondered how it was possible to tie a cherry stem in a person's mouth. It's a fun fact to tell people.
