It meant alot to have his faith in our success at such a young age. I think if you constantly give positive praise and feedback, it substantially helps someone's belief in themselves... :)

Kaylapshirley(at)gmail(dot)comKayla's Placehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16947036928508251155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732262889492827338.post-77183608855128437962012-10-25T23:32:56.377-05:002012-10-25T23:32:56.377-05:00My mom's inspired me.

I know my mom's still an inspiration to me--now that I'm a mom myself, I appreciate her even more :) She got a generous, can-do attitude, and is not one to sit around moping. I always know I'm loved, and hope that's something I'm passing on to my own kids :)

Thanks for sharing, and BecAlora, your grandmother sounds like one amazing woman with a wonderful legacy in you all!

f dot chen at comcast dot netFedorahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10879033776125666713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732262889492827338.post-462030416800550782012-10-20T17:35:14.321-05:002012-10-20T17:35:14.321-05:00Dang, that's so toughing! She never let anything stop her. She worked through her cancer at a mill, and fought her depression for her children, husband, and eventually grandkids. She was the strongest person I've ever known. She was institutionalized for six months at a point during my mother's childhood. They told my grandfather that he should divorce her because she was never getting out. But he waited for her and she fought for her sanity. She eventually went back to my family. My grandmother didn't have an easy life and all she ever wanted was to be loved, something she found fully in God and my grandfather. Because of her I know I can do absolutely anything. I miss her every day. But she believed in me. So I know I can chase my dreams with her blessing. And I know I can get through absolutely anything because I have her iron will. She was never a victim, she was a survivor. I could not be more proud that she was MY grandmother and that I was her "little black crow."Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09427005742051944824noreply@blogger.com
