We had an instant connection the first time our eyes met from across the dance floor.
The connection grew later that night in my hotel room when we couldn’t keep our hands off each other, or so I thought before waking up to an empty bed.
When she showed up four months later, pregnant with my baby, I still had no idea she was my teammate's little sister until his fist connected with my jaw.
We can't deny our mutual attraction, but how do we turn lust and one incredible night together into love?

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

It's been an entertaining journey thus far for the San Francisco Shockwaves family, a journey with familiar storylines but ones that still brought me joy.  This fifth installment is no different as a one night stand leads to a romance meant to be.  It's a romance that's forbidden at first, frowned upon by an overly-protective brother and a code amongst teammates.  It's a romance that can't be held back though and it's not long before they're trying to make a HEA for themselves.

Blake Weston and Raven Rowe sizzle from the moment they first meet, the sexual tension teeming about them in a nicely-paced journey of togetherness.  Through it all Blake's a delicious hero, one who states his feelings early on, and moves at a pace that Raven sets while being supportive in the decision making.  He's sexy too, with a panty-dropping southern accent that made me melt!  He's protective of those he calls family and is all-in from the moment they reunite.  Their time together was intimate, allowing the two of them to get to know each other in a journey that was realistic with no unnecessary drama.

It's another sweet and sensual journey that binds these two together, steaming up the pages while warming my heart.  The rest of the team, players and their significant others, were an equally strong support and I enjoyed seeing the various couples again.  From the first page to the last this was an entertaining book, basic with its storyline but well-written with a hero who represents that word beautifully!

My rating for this is a B+

*I got this book from the author for review in exchange for my honest opinion.
