Book Tour for Fearless Pursuit by Jean Hart Stewart (GIVEAWAY)

I don't read many books in the fantasy genre but I'm honored to bring you the intensely emotional and fantasy-filled romance, Fearless Pursuit by Jean Hart Stewart.  Keep reading to get a tantalizing taste of this book and learn even more about it by visiting the other blogs hosting this tour.  You can also learn Ms. Stewart's impressions of blogs and share your feelings too for the chance to win one of her books.

Seems as if my e-mail is loaded lately with blogs. All kinds of blogs from so many sitesit’s hard to keep track. It’s also impossible to read them all. So here I am blogging, and I really wonder why. It takes up a lot of time, but does it work?
This is an excellent blog site, but not all are. Some are a sheer waste of time, and some are so full of self-promotion it turns me off from the first sentence. Good advice and straight thinking is what I’m looking for. A little humor thrown in never hurts. Well, maybe a lot of humor!
One quote I love about writing is from Lillian Hellman, the famous playwright. “If I had to give young writers advice, I would say don’t listen to writers talking about writers orthemselves.” I always hesitate to blog anyway, and that advice doesn’t exactly urge me on.

So what’s the answer to too many blogs? I know I miss some good ones, but like all writers I never have enough time to read even half the e-mail from my writer’s groups. I wish some of you who are reading this would comment and let me know what you think. Too many blogs? Not enough? Do you like excerpts or do you prefer blurbs? What attracts you the most? I’d really like to know.
Any comments will be appreciated!  Do, do, do tell me what you like to read in a blog.
Here’s a blurb and excerpt from my book Fearless Pursuit which just came out at Ellora’s Cave...  I’ll send a copy of Fearless to one of those lovely people who take the trouble to comment. Yep, I really want to know what you think.

Book 6 of the Passionate Pursuits series.
His pointed ears betray the elfin heritage Rurik is content to ignore but when he meets the beautiful singer Reina his world turns upside down. To claim her—and save her from a sadistic villain—he must learn to use his eflin powers. Helping in his father’s clinic is not at all the way he’d planned his life but Reina is worth the upheaval. Unfortunately, it might not be enough to tip the scales in the fight he faces.
Rurik needs his younger brother’s help and Jake cannot refuse, even though he’s even more reluctant to embrace their elfin heritage than Rurik.
Even though acknowledging their magic challenges them both to their limits, the brothers will secure the future that Rurik dreams of having with Reina and help two special children who have need of their powers.
Inside Scoop:  Rurik and Jake deal frankly with the problems of two hurting children whose stories may affect some readers.

EXCERPT:

He woke somewhat later than he’d expected. Reina’s delightful ass snuggled against his cock and he immediately hardened. His mama had been right, though. He’d needed a little rest.
He flexed his injured arm and smiled at the regained mobility. He wouldn’t want to punch anybody just yet but that wasn’t how he planned to use it tonight.
The sky had darkened while they’d slept and he could see a few stars shining through the window. One small white cloud drifted by and vanished. Kissing Reina softly, he felt his cock swell and pulse. Dear elves, he felt as if he could fuck his love the rest of the night. She wiggled her ass against his cock and he turned her in his arms and kissed her with all the love and desire in his heart. She reached up and stroked his face.
“Are you sure it’s all right to do this? Have you rested enough?”
“Sweetheart, I could have fucked you before but I wouldn’t have been at my best. I think my mother might be wiser than I. I’m sure my renewed energy will come in handy for the rest of tonight.”
He used his tongue to plunge deep into her mouth and ran it around every spot he could reach. She gasped and reached for his cock and then stopped.
“Rurik, get those shorts off. I want to feel every inch of that big cock of yours. The skin’s so soft and the rest of it is so hard. It’s a thing of beauty to me.”
Rurik jumped from the bed and stripped himself nude in a few seconds. Reina had only her slip to take off, so she merely sat up and shrugged it off with a quickness thatdelighted Rurik. He thought she was almost as eager as he.
He lay down beside her, trying to get himself under control so he’d not attack her like a barbarian. She completely astonished him by taking his cock in her hands the minute it was free and pointing straight out from his stomach. She stroked him with fervor, showing how much she enjoyed caressing him. Did she know she was driving him insane? Starting at the base, she circled his cock first and then moved her hand back between his legs and caressed his balls.
He forced his every muscle rigid. This was something he’d dreamed of her doing in the future, when he’d had more time to guide her to all the delights of love.
“You’re so hard here too. Those little balls jiggle a bit, don’t they? Do you like this as much as I do, Rurik?”

AUTHOR INFO:

Love living in California, even though I’m a transplant. Love writing and all it entails, crazy characters demanding to be let loose on the page, long hours of research, every bit of it. I raised two children and spent about twenty years in real estate before I summoned the courage to quit and do what I always wanted to do, WRITE! While he was alive my husband was my first-stop editor and biggest fan. Now that my children are accustomed to my writing sexy novels they’re equally supportive.
I’m currently writing my 34th book, tentatively named Defiant Pursuit. I’ve done historicals, a series of romances with Druids, another with Mages, and am well into this new series where the hero has Elfin blood. He’s fun, as well as tall, lithe and gifted. And did I say sexy? My elves are my first venture into writing erotica, and it’s harder than you think as well as fun. This last book in the series, Defiant Pursuit, will feature an elf as the heroine. I’m blessed as well as lucky. Do write me with any questions to jswriter@earthlink.net. I love to hear from readers!
