Book Cover Reveal for The Rocker by Harlow Layne…

As a fan of rockstar romances I'm thrilled to give you a glimpse of this forbidden romance full of sexual tension.  Keep reading to get a tempting glimpse of The Rocker by Harlow Layne, then start counting down the days until this fifth installment in the Love Is Blind series hits shelves on February 17th!

The moment I saw her, I knew she’d be mine.
The only problem is she’s my band’s manager, and if we get caught, she loses her job.
I only wanted one night with her. One night to fuck her out of my system and be done with her.
The only problem is after one taste of Pen, I’m addicted. I can’t get enough of her, and she’s pushing me away.
She says what we had is a lapse in judgement, but I have to disagree. It’s the most sane thing I’ve ever done, and I’ll do anything to get her back underneath me, beside me, and to make her mine even if that means ruining what I’ve worked so hard to build up.

Indie Author. Romance Writer. Reader. Mom. Wife. Dog Lover. Addicted to all things Happily Ever After and Amazon.
Harlow Layne is a hopeless romantic who is known for her contemporary writing style of beautiful slow-burn,
sweet, sexy, and swoon-worthy alphas and fast pace, super steamy romance in her Love is Blind series.
Harlow wrote fan fiction for years before she decided to try her hand at a story that had been swimming in her head for years.
When Harlow's not writing you'll find her online shopping on Amazon, Facebook, or Instagram, reading, or hanging out with her family and two dogs.

Book Blast for Indecent by Darcy Burke (GIVEAWAY)…..

Fans of Regency romances will be drawn to this tale of a young man desperately in need of dowry money who finds unexpected love with a woman with no money of her own but who's looking for answers.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of Indecent by Darcy Burke, then learn even more about this book by visiting the other sites hosting this tour.  In honor of this fourth installment in the Phoenix Club series make sure to fill out the form below for the chance to win an e-copy of the first book in this series too!

If Bennet St. James, the Viscount Glastonbury, doesn’t find a bride with a sizeable dowry, he’ll be in the poorhouse along with his interminable number of female relatives—all of whom he loves but are a drain on the negative fortune his father left when he died of a broken pocketbook. Desperate, he hatches a scheme to snare an heiress only to be foiled by a most vexing and alluring—and unfortunately equally destitute—paid companion.
Lady’s companion Prudence Lancaster is single-minded about finding her mother and filling in the missing pieces of her life. But a villainous viscount interrupts her plans, and his surprising charm and understanding tempts her in the most indecent ways. Soon, she’s dreaming of the future instead of wallowing in the past.
But when Bennet shares a dark secret, her hopes are dashed. For he won’t break the promise he made to his family, even if it means losing the greatest love he’s ever known.

“What will you do after you return me to London? Do you plan to stay for the rest of the Season?”
“If you’re wondering whether I’ll slink back to Somerset with my tail between my legs, the answer is no. I do need to go home to check on things, but hopefully, I’ll find an heiress first.” He lifted a shoulder. “Someone will want to marry a viscount. At least I have a title to sell.”
She frowned gently, her lush lips pulling down. Lush? He ought not characterize her in such a way. She was not for him to lust after. Still, it was difficult to ignore her beauty.
“You can’t marry for love, then,” she said matter-of-factly.
He gave a humorless laugh. “I haven’t the luxury of that, I’m afraid. I will hope to marry someone I like and admire.”
“I can understand. Love is a luxury, isn’t it?”
“Why do you say that?” He found her to be rather enigmatic. She was very stiff, save her bouts of pique, which he’d thoroughly earned.
“Love brings obligations and...messiness,” she said offhandedly. “I’m alone now, and it’s far more convenient—financially, emotionally, in all ways, really.”
He couldn’t argue that love was untidy. He had only to think of his family. They loved one another dearly, even his father, but there were plenty of other messy, complicated emotions and situations. “You’ve no desire to fall in love? To marry?”

Book Release Blast for Always Someone’s Monster by Lani Lynn Vale (REVIEW)…..

Fans of younger woman/older man romances will find themselves drawn to this gritty and emotionally intense MC-fueled story.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of Always Someone’s Monster by Lani Lynn Vale, along with getting my impressions of this first installment in the Battle Crows MC series, then add it to your bookshelf!

A few years ago, when his sister went missing, Haggard Crow turned into something he never wanted to be. A killer.
Even after his sister is rescued a year after she was kidnapped and sold, Haggard ‘Thief’ Crow doesn’t have any plans on changing. He sort of likes the zero fucks given guy that he is now. Bonus points, he saves women and children from extreme situations, along with his club and real life brothers by his side.
After a horrible marriage, Haggard has zero plans of ever finding a woman again. One-night stands not counting, he adores his life as a single man. There are no expectations. No ‘where are yous’ and ‘are you coming homes.’
The life he chooses to live is a simple one. Until he makes a huge mistake, and he steps over that line between ‘daughter’s best friend’ and ‘a woman he desperately wants.’
Before long, he can’t stop thinking about her. Can’t stop wanting her. Can’t stop feeling things for her that a man twenty years her senior should never feel for a girl he watched grow up. After one lapse in judgment, he decides she needs to go. But the funny thing is, he never expected Sophia Madden to fight back. And dirty at that.

When it comes to MC-themed romances Ms. Vale has become a go-to author for me courtesy of her larger than life characters, sizzling interactions, and exhilarating and edge of your seat action.  This first installment in her Battle Crows series meets all those qualities and more to be another immensely satisfying addition to her bookshelf that has me greatly anticipating what's coming next in this series.

Haggard Crow is a man who's seen it all, a basically good man more than willing to do bad things when the situation warrants it.  When it comes to love and romance he's a man who tries to stay uninvolved after his previous marriage left him bruised.  Being around the much younger Sophia though starts his heart racing, tempting him at every turn, in a younger woman/older man romance.  Haggard's a rough around the edges man, a man with strong protective instincts towards those he claims as his.  He understands the issues surrounding giving into his attraction for his daughter's best friend, fights it for as long as he can, but ultimately can't fight what's blatantly obvious between them in their undeniably scorching connection.

Sophia Madden may be young in years but she's a heroine who's wise beyond her years. For as far back as she can remember she'd been attracted to her best friend's father, even knowing others would see it as wrong.  Despite that she's the kind of heroine who will go after what she wants no matter what it takes, which makes for a formidable connection to Haggard that kept me frantically turning the pages.

From the first page to the last this was a romance full of emotional highs and lows.  Set in the MC world there were moments of grittiness and suspense along with moments of heart and soul that endeared me to Haggard, the tough guy biker.  For over half the book the sexual tension between Haggard and Sophia was unrelenting as they danced around each other, but it was a delightful dance that had me cheering them on to finally give in to what they both wanted.  Along with fun and flirty banter there were also moments of tears that kept my emotions on edge and kept me fully invested in this couple's journey.  From joyous highs to heartbreaking lows this was one heckuva story and with the author's final words readers will be left clamoring for the next book in this series to hit bookshelves!

My rating for this is an A?

Book Release Blitz for Pieces of Me by Jay McLean (REVIEW)…….

After reading the first book in this New Adult duet I knew I had to come back to this world and the unforgettable connection between two bruised souls.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of Pieces of Me by Jay McLean, along with getting my impressions of this second installment in the Pieces Duet, then add it to your bookshelf!

“I loved you then,

I love you now,

and I’ve loved you every single day in between.”

Jameson Taylor is a nomad. A drifter. A memory collector.

Or, at least, that’s what’s become of her life ever since she was forced to leave pieces of her fractured heart behind.

“This is the fault in our fate, our one undoing:

All he’s ever wanted is my happiness,

even when it costs him his own.”

Holden Eastwood is resentful. Angry. But most of all, hurt.

Torn to pieces by the girl who left him, he struggles to find forgiveness in the organ she once broke.

When a tragedy forces them to face the aftermath, Jamie seeks acceptance, while Holden searches for answers.

What they find, instead, are remnants of their love.

Fragments of forever.

And parts of a puzzle that will lead them to the truth…

A truth that might shatter them to pieces.

Set five years after the previous book in this duet, emotions continue to be bubbling over as Holden and Jamie find their way back to each other in a journey that pulled at every one of my heartstrings.  From anger to tears to frustration to warm fuzzies, this couple definitely wore me out throughout their journey of second chances as they matured one bumpy step after another.

Holden Eastwood is a very tarnished hero, a man with a bruised heart and a painful past that is still on display today as he had me wanting to punch him through over half of this book as his jealousy had him lashing out at Jamie.  It was clear he wanted her but he did all he could to push her away in ways that were very "un" heroic.  It wasn't until the latter half of the book that he finally stepped up to be the man we knew he could be, showing himself to be worthy of the immensely appealing Jamie.

Jamie Taylor's had her own painful past, a past she's worked hard to move on from. This book shows her to have stronger self-esteem, but the heart wants what the heart wants, so time and time again she falls for Holden's moments of be left hurt. She brushes herself off though and gets right back up, impressing me with her strength and making her a likable and memorable heroine.  Though Holden redeems himself in her eyes by the turn of the final page, I'm still not completely convinced that he's worthy of her.

A lot happens throughout this book, a lot of angst and a lot of pain.  I was left conflicted at times, left angry and disappointed, but I was always impressed by Ms. McLean's ability to arouse such intense emotions.  The road to romance for these two is messy but by the end it's all worthwhile.

My rating for this is a B-

You might think the problem would be waking up in Vegas, hungover,
next to a beautiful woman who’s wearing your boxer briefs
and finding out ya married her in the middle of an epic drunken night of festivities.
But you’d be wrong.
I, Nolan Cassidy, international charmer and maker of mischief have fallen head over heels for Cora Delaney.
I want to be married to the lass.
So you might think the problem would be that she wants an annulment.
But again you’d be wrong—stop getting it so wrong.
I, Nolan Cassidy, with my devil tongue and Irish accent, will no doubt change her mind.
Does the problem lie in that she has a son who doesn't like me and is as clever and crafty as I?
Or that I’ve only got one month—until St. Patrick’s Day—to prove to my one true love
that I can be a good husband and father?
C’mere and I’ll tell ya…
None of that is the problem.
I’m a problem.
My boxing days may be behind me
but the fight never left me.
When I see something I want, I get it.
And nothing is going to stand in my way.
Not my new wife’s hesitation nor her son’s doubts.
So buckle up, strap in.
Because I’m no longer in the business of wanting.
I’m in the business of having.
Which is gonna make for one wild Paddy’s Day.

Before writing steamy romantic comedy novels, Kayley Loring got a BFA in creative writing from a Canadian university and had a fifteen-year career as a screenwriter in Los Angeles (under a different name). She mostly wrote PG-13 family comedies that studios would pay her lots of money for and then never make into movies. In 2017 she decided to move to the Pacific Northwest and write about all the fun stuff that she wasn't allowed to write about in those PG-13 scripts. Now she’s an Amazon Top 25 bestselling author who’s breathing cleaner air and writing dirtier words. It’s an adjustment she’s happily getting used to. Rest assured that her funny sexy sweet romances have no cheating or cliffhangers, and always have HEAs!

Connor Crais is a classically trained actor living in the Midwest with his wife, two kids, and rescue greyhound. He has been both a stage and television actor, and before plunging into the romance genre, he had been narrating commercials, audiobooks, and explainers for well over a decade from his home studio. From alphas to bosses to cocky sports stars (a particular favorite), he loves sparring with beautiful, sassy heroines (and their talented narrators) but also loves winning them over and reaching that happily ever after. He is excited to now create those stories as an author.

Guess I missed the part about the cocky basketball player sleeping down the hall...
Finn Richards is hot, cruel, broken beyond repair. Oh, and did I mention hell-bent on making me quit?
Whatever. It's not like his charms work on me. I’m immune to his deep hazel eyes, and I'm not even a little bit curious about what happened that night...
It’s just two months.
I can definitely go two months without ripping his head off. Only problem is,
I’m not sure the same goes for his clothes.

Book Blast for Scandals of Tokyo by Heather Hallman (GIVEAWAY)…..

Into an exotic world comes an unlikely pair whose battle of words soon takes a more romantic turn in this tempting historical novella that gives readers a taste of what's still to come from this author.  Keep reading to get a glimpse of Scandals of Tokyo by Heather Hallman, then learn even more about this book by visiting the other sites hosting this tour.  In honor of this prequel to the Tokyo Whispers series fill out the form below for the chance to win a $25 bookstore GC too!

In the Foreign Quarter of Tsukiji, Tokyo, Japan, Victorian England is alive and well. Manners and etiquette are as valuable as gossip and deceit. Men are more rakish than ever - so far from home, societal rules seem to be relaxed. But courting young women still requires a deft hand, a smart wit, and a man with something to offer.
Intent on being an international journalist of repute, Evelyn Prescott will do what it takes to make her mark.
It doesn’t hurt that her father has built a newspaper empire, but finding a scandal in Japan is no easy task.
As much as she hates to admit it, she is forced to meet with the owner of the Tokyo Daily News, Ned Taylor, also an Englishman.
Ned holds a deep-rooted dislike of Evelyn’s father’s approach to journalism, and Ned, a notorious rake, pushes her to see just how far Evelyn is prepared to go to get her story.
From Reedsy Discovery: "Written as a prequel novelette to her forthcoming Tokyo Whispers series, “Scandals of Tokyo” drops readers into the immigrant quarter of Meiji era Tokyo, with hints of all of the glitz, the temptation, and the salacious gossip one could wish. At just under 30 pages, Hallman has a lot of ground to cover, introducing characters and a world that will be expanded on in future novels, but if “Scandals” is just a taste of this series, then it’s going to be huge. Lovingly researched and brilliantly detailed, Hallman knows the place and time she’s writing about and it shows! Turn of the century Tokyo is alive and well on her pages and in her characters, and it is certain to delight."

Tokyo 1896
Foreign Quarter of Tsukiji
Several matrons strolled towards the balustrade, their chatter enveloped in the rustling of silk skirts and clattering of heels against the terrace flagstones. Aunt Prissy warbled an evening greeting to some of them, which they returned in kind. Over the course of their residence at the Hotel Metropolis, she’d become friendly with most of the guests. As the women walked away, Aunt Prissy offered another large yawn from behind her fan.
“Really, you should retire. I’ll stay a bit longer on the terrace. I’m too fidgety to join you.” Evelyn’s gratitude for her aunt’s permissiveness as chaperone had never been greater, but she was determined to speak with a certain charming gentleman this evening, and the conversation would proceed more smoothly if Aunt Prissy wasn’t taking part.
“I perfectly understand, dear Evie. Better you fidget on the terrace. It’s quite windy tonight. Do beware of catching a chill. Shall I bring you a wrap?” Even at the end of August, summer’s heat held Tokyo in its grip. Night brought a modicum of relief, but the breezes off Tokyo Bay remained sultry.
Evelyn declined the offer and kissed Aunt Prissy good night. As the swish of her aunt’s skirts faded, Evelyn contemplated her target.
Ned Taylor was her last hope.
She hadn’t wanted to use the letter she carried, but she’d been in Tokyo for over a month and still didn’t have a scandalous story she could send to Papa. Most of her time had been spent convalescing from a summer malady she’d picked up a few days after arriving and chasing a baroness through the countryside for a scandal-worthy headline. She’d inquired around the foreign quarter as to the reputations of its prominent residents, but all her efforts had amounted to was unsubstantiated rumours and trivial innuendo.
Evelyn had no choice but to present Mr Taylor with a request from her papa he couldn’t ignore.

Heather Hallman writes witty, sensual, contest-winning romances set in Meiji-era Japan (1868-1912). She is the author of the Tokyo Whispers series that includes Scandals of Tokyo and Talk of Tokyo.
She is fluent in Japanese language, history, and culture, and earned a doctoral degree in cultural anthropology based on fieldwork research in Japan. She lives in Tokyo with her professor husband and two young daughters. In her free time, she can be found translating ancient Japanese poetry and observing the passing of seasons while sipping green tea. Just kidding, she has no free time. But she does watch something that makes her laugh while she does the dishes.
Perennial obsessions include the weather forecast (she checks three different apps at least three times a day, as no single app can be trusted), Baltimore Ravens football (hometown obsession), and making smoothies that taste like candy bars.
Feel free to chat her up about any of her obsessions, or, even better, about historical Japan—any era is fine, she loves them all. She also enjoys exchanging book recommendations, discussions about the craft of romance writing, and stories about life in present-day Tokyo.

As a fan of rockstar romances I was immediately drawn to this story and quickly became invested in the second chance this playboy rocker has been given.  Though the storyline is familiar, the issues between these former lovers having been dealt with before, this was still an enticing read.  From the first page to the last this was a charming tale, a satisfying story of making amends to forge a new beginning, and is another example of how talented Ms. Phillips is in creating quick reads full of heart and soul.

Dash Kingston's the proverbial playboy rockstar, flitting from one woman to the next.  When his most recent encounter leads to hard truths he decides it's time to change...and admit what's been weighing on him for years.  Leaving Cassidy Forrester behind was the biggest mistake of his life, no other woman has ever been able to compare.  With so many scandals his PR people think he needs to change too and they enlist the one person he never expected to see again to help clean up his image.  And so Dash is given a second chance to prove he's a changed man to the woman whose heart has been hardened since the morning he walked away.  Dash was a likable hero, one who grew and matured as the story progressed. He was fun and flirty and with each turn of the page he showed himself to be a man with a big heart more than ready to give it to the only woman for him.  Dash might've frustrated me a time or two at the start, but by the end of the story he had completely won me over.

Cassidy was a good match in the plan to remake Dash's image as she's someone who understands the rockstar world with her brother being a member of the band.  She's an immensely appealing heroine with a kind heart when readers first meet her, a heroine full of insecurities who doesn't find it easy to express her desires.  But in this story she shows a more determined side, a protective side that gets slowly worn down by the rocker bent on proving himself despite Cassidy keeping her heart hardened.  While there was a lot of baggage between these two, the sparks flying between them were more than obvious and very believable.  Playful and steamy moments were balanced with more heartfelt and sensual interludes as Cassidy slowly saw the importance of forgiveness.  To discover the love of a lifetime she needed to finally move on from the past in a journey full of heart and soul that pulled at my heartstrings.

On a whole this was a fast-paced romance of second chances, a journey of redemption, all set in the rockstar world with all the expected glitz and glamor.  Dash and Cassidy are an engaging pair, a duo whose actions kept me glued to the pages, rooting for them to find themselves back into each other's arms.  There are secrets surrounding them though, secrets and drama that Dash has to deal with in order to prove himself to Cassidy in their emotional journey to HEA.  Surrounding this entertaining main couple were the other members of the Kingston clan, a family who was supportive and who I look forward to seeing more of in future installments.  By the turn of the final page I was once again left smiling and impressed by the ability of Ms. Phillips to craft yet another man worthy of being called a hero in a book I definitely recommend!

My rating for this is an A-
