Book Release Blast for The Tryst List by Kaylene Winter (REVIEW)…..

A one-night stand leads to more, after a decade of anger and regrets, in this contemporary romance of second chances.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of The Tryst List by Kaylene Winter, along with getting my impressions of it, then add this steamy tale to your bookshelf!

When a man, haunted by secrets, reunites with the only woman who's ever ignited his soul, he'll do anything to prove he's more than his mistakes.
From the moment I laid eyes on her in Vegas, I knew tattoo artist Jordan Deveraux was my destiny. Our chemistry was too fiery to ignore, one night of passion could never be enough.
Walking away was agony.
Easily, the biggest regret of my life.
Years later, I'm successful and rich but still crave my siren of the sea.
Her game of pretend doesn't mask the heat still smoldering between us. Little does she know, I have the roadmap to turn her fantasies into reality. Stranded in my boat, the waves aren't the only things rocking.
Her ability to resist me sinks faster than a lead anchor.
Here's the catch—my past isn't as spotless as the buildings I design. And my secrets threaten to pull us under.
Can we navigate these turbulent waters to find a future?
Or, will my mistake capsize everything?

They say that "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas", but for Jordan and Peter they were left with a decade of anger and regrets after their unforgettable one-night stand.  Seeing each other after ten years apart hasn't diminished their sizzling chemistry but it's reinforced her anger over Peter just walking away with him desperately wanting to fix the past to make a HEA with her now.

From the moment they see each other again, Ms. Winter cranks up the heat while twisting the screws of angst which leads to a rollercoaster ride of emotions.  Peter's a character I didn't always like as he allowed his family to be an anchor to his HEA.  When it came to his steamy plan of making amends though, I found myself liking him a bit more.  Jordan's a likable heroine, one who deserved real answers 10 years ago.  I enjoyed the interactions between her and her family which highlighted how stunted Peter was when it came to family.  He definitely had to work for her forgiveness…as he should have!

The chemistry from ten years ago was still more than obvious, if only these two can put aside past hurts and his family's interference.  There's A LOT of angst, mixed with sizzling encounters, in their rocky road to HEA.  It's a frustrating journey that could've gone smoother had they just talked from the very beginning.  The constant familial interference overshadowed every one of their second chances and felt like an intrusion he should've rid himself of sooner.  Despite my frustrations I still found this a solid and satisfying romance that has me looking forward to Ms. Winter's next book release!

My rating for this is a B.
