Kozy Up To Kris Kringle Multi-Author Spotlight Tour featuring Jackie Weger, Donna Fasano, and Mimi Barbour (GIVEAWAY)

With Christmas creeping ever closer it's time to Kozy Up To Kris Kringle sponsored by #eNovAaW and featuring the very talented authors Jackie Weger, Donna Fasano, and Mimi Barbour.  Today Ms. Fasano is stopping by to give us a glimpse of two of her most recently released books as well as a delicious sounding recipe to make your parties pop.  There's more partying going on at some of my fellow blogger's sites so follow the rest of the tour for even more fun and festivities!  One last way to celebrate the holiday is for you to fill out the form below for the chance to win a $25 Amazon GC too!  So let's get this party started.......

It’s the holidays! Let’s celebrate with a delicious recipe. When you cook Caponata, your house will be filled with a wonderful onion, garlic, bacon aroma that will set off your salivary glands and have your family running for the dinner table. Can’t find perciatelli pasta? You can substitute fusilli, linguini, or plain spaghetti. Enjoy!
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 onions, chopped into 1/4 inch cubes
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 pound bacon slices, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 pound perciatelli pasta
1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
3 egg yolks, beaten
Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Add onions and garlic and sauté over medium heat until translucent, about eight minutes. Add bacon and cook until bacon is to desired crispness. Whisk in the heavy cream until fully incorporated. This is your sauce. Keep warm. Meanwhile, cook pasta in a pot of boiling, salted water. Cook to al dente (as per package directions). Drain pasta well and return hot pasta to pot. Add Parmesan to pasta and toss to coat. Add the egg yolks slowly, tossing the hot pasta so that all strands are coated. Place pasta onto a large platter and spoon cream sauce over top.
Serve with a green salad and fresh bread for sopping up all that creamy, rich deliciousness!

When it comes to business, Aaron Chase knows how to succeed. But when his daughter, Izzie, asks him for the perfect family Christmas, the handsome widower feels at a loss about how to make his little girl's dream come true.
Pediatric Nurse Christy Cooper has dedicated her life to taking care of children. She agrees to act as Izzie's stand-in mom for this special holiday and throws herself into making the child's Christmas wish a reality. Maybe this selfless act will somehow alleviate her secret regrets and failures of the past.
The holiday is filled with fun and laughter, and it's amazing how three short days can be so life-changing. When the impish eight-year-old talks the adults into acting out a silly, make-believe wedding, young Izzie is certain the magic of the season will turn the pretend vows into the real thing. The little girl wants her daddy to have Christmas in his life--every single day.
