Nikki’s the flamboyant rhythm guitarist of the hard rock band Oblivion. He’s a sexy rock star man-whore who’s accustomed to a life of music, partying and a constant stream of girls that are ready, willing and able!
Trixie’s a feisty party girl who likes to have fun. She makes the most of her single lifestyle and happy-go-lucky attitude. But she’s also a hard-nosed business women who knows what she wants and goes out and gets it. She lives her life by the motto ‘Work hard. Play hard’.
Neither of them ‘do relationships’. But when their frequent hook-ups start to develop into something more they realize that the connection and pull between them is undeniable. The prospect of wanting more than just mind-blowing sex from each other is a total shock to both of them and it hits them like a bolt from the blue.
Can they change their partying ways and give in to the irresistible chemistry that sizzles between them? Do they even want to? And will their past catch up with them to prevent them from giving the whole relationship thing a proper try?

EXCERPT:

Nikki pulls me in close to him so our bodies are crushed against each other. His hands start to drift over my body, caressing my hips then reaching around to lightly squeeze my ass. In a raspy voice he growls, “Hell Trix, I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t seem to be able to get enough of you. I constantly want to touch you. Every time I see you my whole body lights up like god-damned neon. You’re so fuckin’ sexy.”
I can feel the evidence of his admission as his erection digs into my stomach. He grinds against me to prove his point. He ducks down and lightly nibbles on my lower lip. His tongue joins in the action as our mouths glide against each other and our bodies move together suggestively.
I know exactly what he means, as soon as I see him I feel tingles of excitement reverberate through my body. This boy’s dangerous, our physical chemistry is off the charts but I know that’s all it can be. There’s no way this could ever be anything more. He’s a god-damned rock star after all. An outrageously sexy one, but still a rock star. He probably has this effect on every girl he hooks up with.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

The rock star world is once again on vivid display in this second installment in the Oblivion on Tour series.  While Eve and Ash from the previous book are getting closer after a rocky start, guitarist Nikki and party-girl Trixie are getting closer themselves.  Both start off thinking they're only together for a bit of fun and sex, but they soon find themselves utterly consumed with each other as seen in the numerous scorching sexual interludes.  For two people who think they can't do relationships these two sure look committed to one another.  Through their fun and flirty banter to their playful and sensual erotic play these two quickly get closer together.  With his commitment to the tour and his band and hers to her job and the unwanted attentions of a stalker though, their happiness is soon put in jeopardy.  Will their burgeoning romance be strong enough to withstand the pressures or will she let the past dictate her future?

This is a sexy story and a satisfying addition to the series.  Nikki is a sexy and self-assured rock star who wears his heart on his sleeve.  He may appear wild and rough around the edges but longs for closeness and a sense of home and family.  He's a jealous man who'd do anything to keep Trixie close and he completely won me over from his first arrogant thought.  Trixie was hurt by someone she loved long ago and still lets it affect her relationships today.  She never wanted to get close though the opportunity for love has been in front of her for a long time.  She's a bit careless with her words, hurting Nikki early on which made her hard to warm up to.  Nikki's affections are good for her though and have her showing a kinder side as the story progressed.  Together they're combustible with a connection that crackles and I enjoyed watching them get closer amidst all their trials and tribulations.

Surrounding this compelling main couple are the other members of the band and others close to Trixie.  All of them left a lasting impression and point to future stories, especially the player Cody and Nikki's sister Kitty whose sexual tension is already off the charts.  Though this story goes on a bit too long, and gets a bit over the top when it comes to the stalker, I still found it a rockin' good story and look forward to the next rock star to find romance.

My rating for this is a B.

AUTHOR INFO:

The first thing you need to know about me is that I genuinely believe in true love and soul mates. I met my wonderful husband when we were still at school. I was sixteen, he was seventeen, weare high school sweethearts. Now more than twenty five years later, we are still very much in love and are happily married with two beautiful children. We live in picturesque New Zealand and I consider ourselves lucky to live in this magnificent part of the world.
I do have a full time job, but in my spare minutes I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and reading. I’m an avid reader and tend to chomp through a large volume of books, mainly in the romance genre. And of course my other major ‘hobby’ is writing steamy rock star erotic romances!
I started writing in early 2014. After spending many years writing business documentation, and constantly being inspired by numerous romance novels, I decided to try my hand at fictional writing. After penning my first scene I discovered that I enjoyed it immensely and so resolved to continue with the rest of the story that was swirling in my imagination. That story resulted in my first novel, Heaven Sent.
