Book Release Blast for Never Plan a Billionaire's Wedding by Julia Kent…….

Weddings are already stressful enough, so readers need to hold on tight from the first page of this contemporary rom-com to its last when two people get a second chance at love!  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of Never Plan a Billionaire's Wedding by Julia Kent, then add this first installment in the Whatever It Takes series to your bookshelf too!

Every bride needs something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue - But you know what brides don't need?
Complications.
Welcome to Wedding Protectors, Inc. Have a spritzer or a latte or some lovely Zen tea and sink into a comfortable chair in our sunlit offices as we listen to your wedding problem – and form the perfect solution to every possible contingency.
We plan for everything.
Except our own love lives.
But that's not your problem. ;)

Rule #1: Don’t fall in love with the groom
Stalker exes. Momzillas. Drunk uncles. Hurricanes. Jealous siblings. Paparazzi.
You name it, Kari Whitevelt has seen it all.
And that’s why brides and grooms hire her.
Because she makes it all go away.
Wedding Protectors, Inc., is here to make sure that special day stays special.
Whatever it takes.
No matter what.
But when her newest client turns out to be her own long-lost high school sweetheart, rising tech star billionaire Caleb Mikelmas, suddenly Kari’s not sure whether she’s protecting the wedding couple —
Or her own heart.
Tech billionaire Caleb never thought he had a chance, much less a second chance with his first love and high school sweetheart, Kari. When a case of mistaken identity turns their reunion into one big misunderstanding, unraveling his feelings about the one who got away while supporting his brother’s nuptials means facing old demons.
And kissing Kari.
He likes kissing Kari far more than that whole demon thing. But if kisses were enough, Kari would already be his wife. Maybe it’s time to revisit the past and right some wrongs. One vow at a time.

EXCERPT:

Her mouth dropped. Katie knew what it was like to have a groomsman hit on you in the middle of wedding plans, but this was a first.
A groom!
And of all the guys...
“Caleb!” she gasped. “You're asking me out on a date?”
He smiled. “Now we're getting somewhere.”
“No! You're getting nowhere!”
“Got to second base back in high school. Remember my mom’s old Explorer? We used to park it
down by the beach–” THWACK!
With a snap of her wrist, she hit him, hard, in the chest.
The hard part came from the three-ring binder full of Carolina's ideas.
“What about Carolina?” she asked as his hands deftly caught the binder before it broke his foot. “What about her?”
“You're cheating on her? Now? With me?”
“I'm what? No! How could I be cheating? Carolina doesn't care if I go out with you!”
A rush of ice-cold numbness took over her body.
“Caleb Mikelmas, you are not the man I once knew! Maybe all that success and money turned your
morality into a hormone-filled lust swamp, but that is not how I live. Silicon Valley is full of all those tech bros orgy parties, and I cannot believe you’re one of them!”
“Orgy? Kari, what are you – ”
“You can't just ask me out when I'm planning your wedding!”
“I still can’t believe you said the word orgy.”
“And I cannot believe you’re jeopardizing your wedding to try to get me into bed!”
“Bed? What? I said coffee! And hold on. MY wedding? Kari, my wedding? I'm not getting married!”

“You're breaking up with Carolina so you can mess around with me?”
Full-throated laughter was the very last item on Kari’s short list of Things Caleb Would Do After
Asking Her to Help Him Cheat on His Fiancée (Who Hired Wedding Protectors for Their Wedding). But laugh, he did.
So she did what any self-respecting woman would do.
“I'm asking you out for coffee, Kari, because I want to spend time with you.”
She shoved the heel of her Jimmy Choo stiletto into his arch.
Which made him fold in half and drop the binder.
As color-coded spreadsheets and post-it tabs went flying, she turned on said heel to storm out, her
pride damaged but not destroyed, her exit so teeth-rattling livid that she didn’t feel a single bit of remorse for hurting him.
Until he shouted:
“Kari, I'm not marrying Carolina! My brother, Christian, is!”

Book Excerpt Reveal for Hate Notes by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward

Things are heating up the closer we get to November 6th...and I’m not referring to the election.  On that day readers will find themselves quickly captivated by this scorching tale of a wedding dress that brings two people together in a forbidden romance that reveals hidden emotions every step of the way.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of Hate Notes by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward, and be even further tempted by this special excerpt, then start counting down the days until this sweet and sexy story hits bookshelves!

From New York Times bestselling authors Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward comes an unexpected love story of secondhand hearts and second chances...
It all started with a mysterious blue note sewn into a wedding dress.
Something blue.
I’d gone to sell my own unworn bridal gown at a vintage clothing store. That’s when I found another bride’s “something old.”
Stitched into the lining of a fabulously feathered design was the loveliest message I’d ever read: Thank you for making all of my dreams come true.
The name embossed on the blue stationery: Reed Eastwood, obviously the most romantic man who ever lived. I also discovered he’s the most gorgeous. If only my true-love fantasies had stopped there. Because I’ve since found out something else about Mr. Starry-Eyed.
He’s arrogant, cynical, and demanding. I should know. Thanks to a twist of fate, he’s my new boss. But that’s not going to stop me from discovering the story behind his last love letter. A love letter that did not result in a happily ever after.
But that story is nothing compared to the one unfolding between us. It’s getting hotter, sweeter, and more surprising than anything I could have imagined.
Something new.
But I have no idea how this one is going to end...

EXCERPT:

Grabbing my laptop, I searched my history and called up the last website Id visited.
Eastwood Properties is one of the largest independent brokerage firms in the world. We connect the most prestigious and exclusive properties with qualified buyers, assuring the utmost privacy for both parties. Whether youre in the market for a luxury New York City penthouse with a view of the park, a waterfront Hampton estate, or an enchanting chateau escape in the mountains, or youre ready for your own private island, Eastwood is where your dreams begin.
There was a link to search properties, so I typed in the name of the place the woman had mentioned in the voice mail: Millennium Tower. Sure enough, the penthouse popped up for sale. For only twelve million dollars, I could own an apartment on Columbus Avenue with sweeping views of Central Park. Let me write you a check.
After drooling through a video and two dozen photos, I clicked on the button to make an appointment to view the property. An application popped up, the top of which read: For the privacy and safety of our sellers, all prospective buyers are required to complete an application to view properties. Only buyers that meet our stringent prequalification criteria will be contacted.
I snorted. Great prequalification criteria you have there, Eastwood. I wasnt sure I had enough money to take the train uptown to get to that swanky place, much less buy it. God knows what Id written that had qualified me.
I closed the website and was just about to shut my laptop and go back to bed again when I decided to take one more peek at Mr. Romantic on Facebook.
God, he was gorgeous.
What if...
I shouldn’t...
No good ever came out of ideas formulated while drunk.
I couldn’t.
But...
That face...
And that note.
So romantic. So beautiful.
Plus . . . Id never seen the inside of a twelve-million-dollar penthouse.
I really shouldn’t.
Then again . . . Id spent the last two years doing everything I should do. And where had that gotten me?
Right here. Itd gotten me right damn herehungover and unemployed, sitting in this crappy apartment. Maybe it was time I did the things I shouldnt be doing for a change. I picked up my phone and let my finger hover over the Call Back” button for a while.
Screw it.
No one would ever know. It could be fungetting all dressed up and playing the part of a rich Upper West Sider while satisfying my curiosity about the man. What harm was there?
None that I could think of. Still, you know what they say about curiosity...
I pressed Call Back.”
Hi. This is Charlotte Darling calling to confirm an appointment with Reed Eastwood . . .

A QUICK Q&A WITH MS. CASTLE:
TSP:  Knowing what you do now about the publishing business, would you have done anything different career-wise?
KTC:  Probably start writing sooner :) I would have taken writing classes, gotten my work critiqued my people close to me but also by professionals, and would have started publish sooner.
Now I know that growing as a writer takes time, that writing is never going to be perfect and that there will be some that love what you write, and some that don't…. and it all okay. Our first book isn’t going to be necessarily a smashing success (and who know, maybe it will be :D ), that as great as I think my first book is, it’s never going to be as well written as my last, and I don’t expect everyone to love it.
TSP:  What does your writing space look like and do you surround yourself with any particularly inspirational items?
KTC:  My writing space needs to be comfortable and quite. I need to be able to concentrate. I move around three spaces around the house that offer me that calm and tranquility. I have a studio with a desk and a nice chair that has reference books that I rarely use (thanks Google). I have a couch in the living room full of pillows to help me sit comfortably, this allows me to hang out with my dog, Raven, and I’m able to look outside and have my thoughts wonder. Lastly, I like writing in my bed; it’s probably not the best place but I love to be comforted by the love and acceptance that my room gives me ;).
TSP:  Beyond its synopsis, what do you want us to know about your newest release?
KTC:  BCL3, Natalie’s Wedding, it’s hands down the best book I’ve written. The words, the structure, the sentences… but also the many emotions depicted in the story. It was a book that explored topics and feelings that I’ve never have before. The whole BCL series is uncharted territory for me, with love triangles, friend reevaluating their friendship, unexpected love, and so much more. I’ve enjoyed writing every book, but Natalie’s book is the one that took a piece of my heart.
TSP:  Which of your books would you like to see made into a movie and who would play the main couple?
KTC:  Wouldn’t that be awesome! So far I’ve only published the Bridesmaid Checklist series (BCL) and I do have a dream cast for it:
TSP:  Of all the heroes you've written, who's the most heroic in your opinion?
KTC:  Since this story is more about friends helping friends, my heroes are the kind you find in real life. Kassandra is the main character, the one that always helps all her friends… no matter what. She in a way is her friend’s hero, always helping them when they need her to: listening to them, feeling for them, acting for them. That’s why I believe that the real hero of the story is her personal hero, who is Josh. Josh is a character I adore, he help Kassie and the girls out as a good hero should, but he also confronts Kassandra when she’s not right and could do better, not necessarily for her friends but for herself. I’ve found that most people who are dedicated to support others sometimes forget that you must always concentrate in yourself before you help others. If you aren’t okay, you won’t be able to be of service to anyone else.
TSP:  How has the digital revolution affected your career and how you market yourself? Do you have an eReader yourself?
KTC:  Since my whole market plan revolves around digital books, I guess I don’t have a problem with it. You get your copy instantly and you don’t have to go far away to get a good book (some people don’t have a book store close by).
Personally, I read in my Nook. I have the Kindle app, and I buy book there, in Google Books and Barnes and Noble. When I find a book that I love, I do buy printed copies, there’s nothing like the feel of a good book in your hands.
TSP:  My site's all about favorite things, so what are your favorite things/the things you can't live without?
KTC:  It’s funny that you ask about favorites, because I struggle so much with having just one, lol.
I don't like thinking that I can’t make up my mind and that I’m an indecisive person, but I like so many things that it’s difficult to have just one favorite. Having that said, here it goes:
I can’t live without my family. Never!! That includes Raven, my dog.
I can’t live without my books. Digital of print. I read and reread, it’s what gets me relaxed and centered.
I can’t live without my colors and notebooks.
There’s many other things that I love, like Netflix… but with a good book I don’t even miss it.
And well, if you’ve been here in the south, you can’t live without A/C :D
Thank you so much for having me over!!
I had so much fun.

BCL is a Contemporary New Adult Romance that tells Kassandra's story.
Kassie is a single, independent woman that finds herself questioning her lifestyle after all of her best friend get married and settle down.
Even if she’s the only unmarried girl in the pack she isn’t single anymore. Now that all her friends are married and all the wedding planning is over, she has a chance to concentrate in her relationship with Josh. Or so she thought, since her friends keep visiting her with a major life changing crisis.
Helping her friends plan their wedding was no problem─dealing with unexpected personal situations is a whole other thing.
You can read how she helps Laura and Marisol to plan their weddings.

EXCERPT:

Why are you here, Josh?” I couldn't hold back my curiosity any longer.
What do you mean?”
He seemed completely caught off guard by my direct question, and I had to remind myself that he couldn’t see inside my head. I really didn’t know what I wanted to hear, but Edward’s words kept coming back to me. Maybe Josh only wanted to sleep with me, nothing else—although it seemed like a lot of trouble for only a night of pleasure.
Do you really only care about getting into my pants?” I asked, bordering somewhere between a pleading glance and a glare.
Josh seemed to relax a bit before he answered me. “You know I do. But not in the way that moron phrased it. I don’t want you thinking about it like that.”
You have no idea what I’m thinking,” I quipped.
I don’t,” Josh said quietly. “I wish I had a clue.” Then he stepped closer to me and tilted his head. “And obviously you don’t know how I feel about you, either.”
Then explain it to me.” I didn’t try to back away from him this time.
This time he looked at me with different eyes. I didn’t see myself broken in them anymore.
