Book Tour for For the Love of Hades by Sasha Summers (Guest Post & GIVEAWAY)

Sasha Summers is quick becoming a favorite author of mine due to her unique view of mythology and romance so I'm excited to have her here today discussing her new book, For the Love of Hades.  Sasha's discussing why the Gods are sexy as well as letting me host a wonderful giveaway.  So keep reading to discover more about this immensely enjoyable book and series.....

5 Sexy Things About the Olympians:
I love Greek Mythology – everything about it. The myths are overflowing with romance, tragedy, drama, and smokin’ hot sexiness. What more could a romance author need for inspiration? Not much, let me tell you. ;)
But you’ve asked for a top 5 list… Which is kind of hard. Sooo, I’ll answer – but I’ll answer using my new release, For the Love of Hades. Is it shameless book promotion? Yes, but I’d never be able to come up with ONLY 5 things. No way.
1.  Hades. I’m not sure how to explain how much I love this hero. He is the epitome of sexy – for me anyway. Gorgeous, thoughtful, hot, loyal, ethical, sexy, and surprisingly kind – Hades is the man.
2.  Persephone. Innocence plus single-minded determination. Her greatest flaw is her willingness to trust. But it is her flaw that enables her to see Hades for who he really is.
3.  Demeter. She’s the Goddess of Fertility after all.  Yes, she is Persephone’s mother – but she’s still got it going on in the animal magnetism department. She is who she is and she makes no apologies for it – a trait her daughter shares.
4.  Poseidon. A villain you love to hate. If he wasn’t so hot you might love to hate him a little less, but he is.  He’s the catalyst for most of Hades and Persephone’s trials even if he’s not the actual villain this time around.
5.  Apollo, Ares, Hermes, and Zeus… When they rally together at the end of the book there’s an undeniable wave of testosterone that can’t help but impress. The Olympians don’t always see eye-to-eye, but when they come together – yummy!
Honestly, each God and Goddess has some primal element that embodies sensuality. I think that’s why I’m so drawn to creating tales for each and every one of them.
Hades and Persephone tale really ratchets up the steam factor, in a very good way. I hope readers will fall in love with their love story, even if they have to turn on the fan while they’re reading it!
Thanks so much for hosting me, Hades, and Persephone too!!!

Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, has no patience for living things or his Olympian brethren. His purpose is order, administering justice to those who enter his realm, and keeping the balance decreed by the Fates. Meeting Persephone sways his focus, her gentle sweetness threatening his control. But he will not be tempted.
Poseidon’s scheming wreaks havoc upon Persephone. Hades has no choice - he must rescue her.
Hades awakens something within the Goddess Persephone. She feels no fear from his brooding presence. In truth, she’s never felt so alive. Every stolen moment together only confirms her instinct: he is meant to be hers. Such a powerful union suit will face opposition – from Olympus, her troubled betrothed, the Fates, even Hades himself – but she is determined to win his heart.
Tagline: Hades, God of Death, has no heart. Persephone is determined to prove otherwise…
EXCERPT:

As they drew close to the main road, he gripped the reins more firmly.
He sighed, straightening his shoulders and tightening the length on the reins. The horses resisted, as did he. But they eventually responded to his hand upon them, slowing to a slight trot.
Orphnaeus shied suddenly, the massive black horse turning into his three running partners in his move to get away. Hades drew the team up, searching for the cause of his stallion’s distress.
Then he saw her. She was sitting in the tree, her foot dangling from the limb.
And he felt Orphnaeus’ urge to flee, too.
She’d tortured him most sweetly. Every day since their meeting he’d forced her from his thoughts. She was a Goddess, virtuous and protected by both Demeter and Zeus alike. No good could come from this fascination. He wanted none of it.
That the memory of her voice found him to whisper his name, that he could still feel the silken touch of her hand upon his arm, meant nothing.
She meant nothing. She would never mean anything to him. He would not allow it.
And yet his eyes lingered on her, hungrily taking in every inch of her.
Damn her. Damn her copper locks and dazzling eyes. Damn her round curves, her welcoming smile… and damn the slight ankle that dandled before him, swinging back and forth playfully.
Damn her for such beauty.
“You came.” Her voice startled the animals anew, making them rear and whinny. “I am sorry,” she said as she slipped from her perch to the ground.
“No.” He jerked the reins sharply, knowing his team would mow her down without thought.
But the four grew still, blowing hard with ears pricked forward. They made no move against her.
“No?” she asked, standing beside the horses, fearless. Her brow rose. “You didn’t come? But… but you are here, sir.”
Hades stared at her, exasperated and enchanted all at once.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Sasha Summers is part gypsy. Her passions have always been storytelling, history, and travel. It's no surprise that her books visit times past, set in places rich with legends and myth. Her first play, 'Greek Gods and Goddesses' (original title, right?), was written for her Girl Scout troupe.
She's been writing ever since. She loves getting lost in the worlds and characters she creates; even if she frequently forgets to run the dishwasher or wash socks when she's doing so. Luckily, her four brilliant children and hero-inspiring hubby are super understanding and supportive.
Sasha is an active member of RWA and several Texas Chapters. A self-proclaimed movie-addict, she is full of all sorts of useless movie tidbits and trivia.
