Leah's practical joke has spiraled way out of control. Now everyone seems convinced that the apocalypse is coming - in the form of zombies. The government is calling the virus AM13, and is advising – or more like forcing - everyone to stay indoors while they 'clean up the mess'.
Leah tries to persuade everyone that it was all just a horrible mistake, however she starts to see there may be more truth to it all than she first thought.

We head outside, and the sun is almost shining. It's a lot warmer than yesterday in any case. Just as I'm about to say that I really think today will be a good one, we hear a scream, followed by a shout, and footsteps, running. I freak out, and duck behind a car, desperate to keep out of sight. Jake follows me and I look at him questioningly. What the hell is going on now?  Suddenly I'm deafened by gun shots, lots of them. I glance up trying to see through the car window what is happening. I can see a boy, running, begging and pleading. Insisting he's fine, nothing has got to him, He's not infected. Whoever he's trying to tell is still firing at him, so either they can't hear him, or they're just ignoring his every word.
He falls to the ground, but the shots don't stop. A man wearing a protective suit that covers every inch of his body walks over to the boy, kicks him, before firing one last shot into his head. He then drags him into the back of a parked van. Jake pulls me under the car, alongside him, and we watch the van driving away.
A police riot van.
