MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:
Anthologies are a wonderful appetizer giving readers a variety of themes, genres, and heat factors. With Love Is... we get forty entertaining stories that I enjoyed for the most part. What I especially liked was knowing the heat factor before starting the story as I prefer super steamy tales. That's not to say that the stories that ran to the sweeter spectrum were any less enjoyable though. On a whole these were well written and contained some of reader's favorite tropes. Of all the stories, one of my favorites was First Date which involved a soldier suffering from PTSD and his neighbor who bonded with him through email first before bonding in the real world. Their burgeoning relationship was sweet and sexy with interactions that made me smile. I also enjoyed the historical read A Right and Proper Apology for its unique and modern view of sexuality. When a husband's strong sexual desire drives his wife away she returns armed with an erotic arsenal that shocks him but leaves him wanting more of her. I enjoyed this strong-willed heroine in a time period where men ruled. All-in-all this was an entertaining read with a little something for everyone and will give readers hours of enjoyment!
