If it’s not broke don’t fix it.
That was Cash’s motto in life, and his life was perfect. He was living the life of the lieutenant of The Last Riders, and had women at his beck and call. The only thing he saw himself settling down with in the future was a twelve pack; certainly not Rachel Porter, who was on his short no fuck list. Hell, she wasn’t even his type—her tits were too small, and her mean mouth could shrivel a man’s dick. How was he supposed to know she was special and worth putting up with those weed-producing hillbillies? Or was she?
Rachel had lived her whole life watching Cash break one woman’s heart after another. He was everything she shouldn’t want; a bad boy biker with enough sex appeal to make any woman want a night in his bed. Even her. Heck, he wasn’t even her type—he didn’t know when to keep his mouth shut, and he lived in a sex club. How was she supposed to know that he was special and worth putting up with the biker wars and biker bitches? Or was he?

Here's an interview between Cash and Rachel while they're relaxing at the clubhouse......
~Cash, Rachel, thanks for taking the time to chat with me today!!  You two look happy…and your clothes a little rumpled….hee hee…How is life these days?  House?  Rings? Babies?
“Life is very good. We’re living in Cash’s fishing cabin which his grandfather and father built. We have some remodeling going on, we want Mag to be able to stay with us.” Rachel said. She lifted her hand showing her diamond engagement ring and wedding band. “We’re happily married, so far.”
Cash laughed at her teasing.
“No babies…” Rachel began.
“Yet, I’m still trying to knock her up.” Cash dodged his wife’s fist.
~What was the moment Rachel, when you knew he was “it” for you? And same for you Cash, when was the “Aha”?
Cash lost all his humor. “When she disappeared.”
Rachel rubbed his thigh soothingly. “I always knew I loved Cash from the time I saw him when I was a little girl. My gift told me he was the one but I didn’t trust it after seeing him with other women.”
~Rachel, if it wasn’t Cash, which of the other Last Riders would you consider “Taking a Ride” on….I mean with?
Rachel turned bright red lowering her voice so no one else in the room would hear. “Train.”
~Cash,  what are three things you LOVE about Rachel and three things that drive you CRAZY?
“I love that she knows how to shoot. That she’s sexy as hell and that she’s wild. Tame is never a word I would use to describe her. I can name three things about her that dive me crazy. Tate, Greer, and Dustin.”
~What about you Rachel, three things you LOVE about Cash and three things that have you reaching for your gun (haha)?
“I love that he’s sexy, think Chris Hemsworth. I love that he shoots almost as good as me. Finally, I love that he built me a big greenhouse. I want to get my gun when he get’s bossy, when he makes me wait before he let’s me…hmm…I guess the best way to say it is to satisfy me. And he really makes me want to shoot him when women flirt with him in front of me.”
~Rachel, have you gotten closer to the Last Rider Ladies now that you are with Cash?
“No.”
~Cash, how about Rachel’s brothers?  Any more Hunting/Fishing trips?
“No.”
~Thank you both for hanging out with me today!  Best of luck for the future, and Don’t forget, You can get pregnant if you have sex in the car!  Haha
“Not if the window’s are rolled down.” Cash said.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

As a fan of stories featuring MCs I'm surprised I've never read one of The Last Riders books before, but now that I have I'll definitely be reading the previous installments too.  The world of MCs is dark, gritty, and highly sexualized with most everyone's moral compass slightly bent.  Ms. Begley's series is all that as well as full of twists and turns with multiple storylines being juggled.  Into this dark world is a ray of sunshine named Rachel whose goodness makes her immensely likable and makes for a memorable journey to naughtyvile courtesy of Cash.  Surrounded by a colorful collection of friends and enemies their journey to HEA is made even more complex as her brothers despise Cash and the majority of Cash's friends aren't good examples of being faithful.  Despite it all this is an entertaining and erotically charged story with a HEA, though Cash is far from a Prince Charming at times throughout the story.

Rachel is the true bright spot in this tale as she's a good and loyal friend and sister who's made something of herself all on her own.  She's talented in the study of plants and has a mystical ability to sense and tranfer energy.  She uses her gift out of love never taking money which again shows her kindhearted nature.  She's had to forge this path in secret as her brothers stifle her in the name of love.  She too loves them though she's tired of them running her life and as the story progresses we see her breaking free in subtle and not so subtle ways, particularly as she and Cash get closer.  Rachel has loved Cash since they were young but he never noticed her until now.  With a feud going on between her brothers and Cash over women it will make a relationship difficult but she sees something in him worth fighting for, despite his occasional stupidity when it comes to words and deeds.  Rachel never found a man worth giving up her virginity for but once she decides that Cash is the one she turns into a sexual wildcat participating in all sorts of sex acts which tarnished their connection for me.  A relationship that could've been about love was now about sex.  Despite this I adored Rachel and found her easy to relate to with her body image issues and her desire to be seen as a woman instead of everyone's friend/kid sister.  She wanted to break that mold, and oh my did she ever!

Cash is the kind of character you can't help but be drawn to though you know you shouldn't.  He's an unrepentent horndog who treats women like Kleenex, throwing them away after finishing up with them.  He's always been aware of Rachel but her curves now have him obsessed with her and wanting to claim her.  He's an aggressive guy when it comes to sex and can easily charm the panties off any woman and despite knowing better Rachel is no different.  Though their sexual chemistry is intense I felt that's all that mattered to him early on as he didn't change his bad boy ways.  He hurt her with certain acts and deeds and each time Rachel forgave him because that's the kindhearted way she is, but it still aggravated me.  It's not until late in the story that he becomes truly worthy of her.  Despite my frustrations with him I still loved him and his naughty talk was subtle and sly.  He oozed sex appeal and it fully caught me in his web.

Needless to say this story is full of sex with sexual encounters both varied and intense.  Many of the female characters started to blur as they slept with one club member after another and at times it brought out cattiness, and especially with Brooke and Cheryl, craziness and dangerous obsessiveness.  With so many club members weaving in and out of the story too it was hard to keep track of who was who and who was in a committed relationship.  This would've been easier had I read the previous books and I recommend that to FULLY enjoy this one.  Ultimately Ms. Begley has crafted a compelling read with a vividly depcted world that's not always back and white. With an admirable heroine and less than perfect hero, along with a colorful array of secondary characters, this is a series that fans of MCs will want to take for a spin.

My rating for this is a B.

AUTHOR INFO:

“I was born in a small town in Kentucky. My family began poor, but worked their way to owning a restaurant. My mother was one of the best cooks I have ever known, and she instilled in all her children the value of hard work, and education.
Taking after my mother, I’ve always love to cook, and became pretty good if I do say so myself. I love to experiment and my unfortunate family has suffered through many. They now have learned to steer clear of those dishes. I absolutely love the holidays and my family puts up with my zany decorations.
For now, my days are spent writing, writing, and writing. I have two children who both graduate this year from college. My daughter does my book covers, and my son just tries not to blush when someone asks him about my books.
Currently I am writing four series of books- The Last Riders, The Dark Souls, The VIP Room, and Biker Bitches series. My favorite book I have written is Soul Of A Woman, which I am hoping to release during the summer of 2014. It took me two years to write, during which I lost my mother, and brother. It’s a book that I truly feel captures the true depths of love a woman can hold for a man. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I am an emotional writer who wants the readers to feel the emotion of the characters they are reading. Because of this, Teased is probably the hardest thing I have written.
All my books are written for one purpose- the enjoyment others find in them, and the expectations of my fans that inspire me to give it my best. In the near future I hope to take a weekend break and visit Vegas that will hopefully be this summer. Right now I am typing away on my next story and looking forward to traveling this summer!”

I’m Nicholas Brooks.
Everyone thinks I’m a nice guy, a local fighter who plays by the rules.
I’m not.
I killed someone when I was sixteen.
The women love me, but I use them.
All except Ria.
However, to have her, I’ll have to fight for her.
The pit isn’t for wimps, either. No rules—get the KO.
To earn redemption, there is always a price.
Even if I win, I lose. Because Ria just might be the price I pay.

Cathryn Williams is the oldest and only female in a family of four children.  While born on the east coast, she has lived all over the country.  Her father’s job as an engineer caused the family to move throughout her entire youth.  She has spent time in Texas, Idaho, and Nevada before moving back to the eastern part of the country as an adult.
It was during these early years that her love of literature began, starting with Nancy Drew and growing with the Sweet Valley High series stories.  This passion grew with each book and has caused her to transition into writing her own stories.  Cathryn’s inspiration stems from a diverse childhood, loving family, and oversized lapdog Scarlet.  When not giving life to her characters, she enjoys traveling, marathoning TV shows, and spending time with her family.
