My initial reason for getting this anthology was my love of some of the authors involved and my desire to read everything they create.  What I got though was so much more and for the most part I found each story to be of a very high caliber.  With the turning of the final page the authors in this anthology have given readers a gift with their 21 tales of first love, first times, and first break-ups ranging from the past to the future.  Readers can blush one moment from steamy encounters to being charmed from heartfelt and sentimental moments the next.  Previously seen characters stand alongside new ones in stories involving heterosexual, lesbian, and ménage couplings, as well as a few taboo topics and a bit of kink.  It all makes for an unforgettable collection that will fulfill every reader's desires and give hours of decadent delights.

Although I enjoyed many of these tales, some stood out for me more than others.  Delay of the Game by Jen Frederick involves a favorite theme of mine with its sweet and sexy tale of friends to lovers.  I liked the characters too and their interactions that teemed with sensual tension.  It's not anything new thematically but it put a smile on my face from start to finish.  In Naughty Wishes by one of my favorite authors Sarah Castille, the ravages of stress and daily obligations weighs on a long-married couple which has the husband doing the unexpected to reignite the flame.  By giving his wife the best birthday gift ever with a ménage he shows his devotion to her happiness and reassures her about her sexiness.  It's steamy, sentimental, and sweet, while depicting the realism of married life and taking your partner for granted.  One of my favorite series takes place in the porn world so I found myself drawn to It Takes Two by Nikki Slone.  Nina is wanting to reinvent herself from her unsatisfying life and chooses adult films to do so.  Little did she expect her first scene to be with two men, Ben and Scott.  I enjoyed the interactions between them and their flirty banter.  This is a story with a bit of sweetness and a lot of scorching words and deeds.  The most unique tale, and the one I'm sure will be most talked about, is Trailer Park Eden by CJ Roberts.  This is a dark and gritty tale with a taboo theme involving two 17-year old disabled twins and their bleak existance of having to do some unsavory things to survive in a desolate trailer park.  With a father who cares nothing about them they rely on each other for survival and affection.  Theirs is an intense connection that I long to see more of, so here's hoping the author hears my prayers.

On a whole this was an entertaining collection that will provide hours of entertainment.  New authors will be discovered while old favorites will continue to satisfy.  Those looking to indulge their fantasies vicariously through these characters will find themselves quickly immersed in this collection that I highly recommend.

My rating for this is an A.

*I got this book from the authors for review in exchange for my honest opinion.
