Dafna can’t stop wanting Erez, he is the man who made her get over her ex-husband. They spend hours together, and soon, they’re using the office desks for more than emails.
Erez is falling for Dafna, she is the woman he has always looked for. When he suspects shady dealings within her company, he finds himself at a loss. Investigating it can cost him his dream job, as well as the love of his life.

EXCERPT:

He needed to pull back, he was slipping fast down a slippery slope. They were in the quietest corner of the company, but the threat of being discovered was there and very real.
He gave in to his desires, throwing caution to the wind. “Do you want me to make you feel better?” His throat was constricted.
“How?” she whispered.
He nipped her earlobe, sucked it in, savoring the metallic taste of her elegant gold earring.
“With my fingers,” he whispered in her ear. “You know I can make you feel so fucking good.” His voice was husky with need.

Brady, along with learning more about this book by visiting the other sites hosting this tour, then add this holiday-fueled romance to your bookshelf!  In honor of this rom-com make sure to fill out the form below for the chance to win a $25 bookstore GC too!

***"The Older Heroine” and what sets them apart from the younger heroine. What pulls readers into their life?***
I love writing about older heroines’ journeys—there is much to enjoy and glean. I think the main thing we all, as humans and as readers, should know is that as long as we’re not dead, we are continually learning lessons—and it’s those lessons and the drama that generally proceeds and precedes those lessons that will always pull readers into their lives. Those lessons and journeys are the core of storytelling – regardless of whether the character is a young adult or later in life.
As I discovered while crafting The Nick Before Christmas, our callings on earth, whatever they may be, involve learning continuously (at least partially). We learn what we want (or don’t want) or who we want to love (or don’t want to love). Learning keeps life interesting, keeps readers like us on our toes, and makes us consider how our reading applies to our lives. Stories like this remind us that we’re alive and continuously evolving.
Older heroines (like all people) are in one of three phases of life -- about to learn a lesson, learning a lesson, or just have learned a lesson. That means they are always on journeys. In that way, they are no different from younger heroines. The difference may be the kind of lessons they learn.
As far as romance, older heroines have experienced versions of love, but that doesn’t mean they don’t stop falling in love. While many younger heroines experience and learn from their first acts, older heroines are often in the midst of their second acts, and there is a lot to learn from the second acts.
Second acts, such as the one I write about in The Nick Before Christmas, remind us of the blessing of second chances, that we can get life wrong for years, even decades. At any point, we can feel/decide/pray to discover our lives are going in the wrong direction—and reverse course or find an entirely new course. And maybe on that new course, heroines find new love, new hope, new skills, new ups and downs, and challenges, or perhaps they will find their way to a calling they should’ve been engaged in in the first place – all journeys that pull us in.
I’ve written many stories about younger heroines, and most of the time, readers find them in the middle of or discovering some element of their first acts, and they learn lessons from those experiences. But the beauty of life and the reflective stories is that there’s a beautiful grace. If you get life wrong in the first act – grace is the second act.
And if you love Christmas stories as I do (and come from a Christmas-crazy mother), then you believe in the reason for the season. More grace -- we’re not just born; we’re born again. That’s a spiritual second act and the grace of all graces. So, the concept of a second act has a spiritual foundation, too.
Understanding that there are exciting journeys at any time of life means understanding that engaging stories can be told about any phase of life. And a great place to start is The Nick Before Christmas.

Will an angel's dire warning, a quest to discover a second act by Christmas Eve, and a touch of Christmas Magic lead Nickie Wright back to the one that got away?
Nickie Wright is ready to celebrate the big 5-0 for Christmas in July, but a hot flash leads her to a sobering revelation: her life has hit rock bottom. Her successes--the home and the car--feel empty. Her vision board has been a waste of time, her job is unfulfilling, and she's mulling over a proposal from Smith, who she's not sure she likes. The best day of her life spirals into the worst. During a near-death experience, a meeting with her guardian angel presents Nickie with an ultimatum - either go to heaven or return to Earth and find her second act by Christmas Eve. If she fails, her future's bleak -- her life will be filled with days no better than her worst.
Her second act sets her on a collision path with Evan Goodman, the man who makes her content, and Jordan Devlin, the first love who drives her crazy. She's torn between two worlds-- contentment and safety, passion and excitement.
Time is running out for Nickie.
She only has from Christmas in July until Christmas Eve to find her calling, follow her dreams, and figure out which romantic interest will help Nickie embrace the best of herself.
The Nick Before Christmas is the perfect romantic comedy to help you find your calling and renew your faith. It delivers unforgettable moments of self-discovery and romance. It's an enchanting story to fill your heart with joy this Christmas.

EXCERPT:

Sasha approached...and based on the sound of footsteps, she wasn't alone.
"Nickie? Uh....You have company?"
"Who?"
Into the threshold stepped Evan...and Jordan, both carrying sizeable brown shopping bags scented with contents that smelled a whole lot like dinner.
Evan ghosted her for weeks, dropped off the radar. J. Dev blew her off and was off parading with Ava, or so she thought. Now both stood in her living room, in the flesh, at the same time. She had no idea how to handle this. Nickie had never been a juggler so two potential courters in her presence, in her house, wasn't a situation she expected to face. She couldn't have orchestrated this cluster if she tried.
Their faces sapped the air out of her lungs. Laying the blame on Sasha wasn't an option.
Her stomach growled, reminding of her greatest need in the moment. If worse comes to worst, Nickie pledged to keep the dinner and cannoli...and dump the two unexpected guests.
"Jordan, Evan...what a surprise to welcome you...both...in my living room...right now,” Nickie said, her eye volleying between them so as not to give one more attention than the other.
Evan glanced at Jordan without speaking a single word, and Jordan returned the favor. She suspected each was eager to learn what the other had to say.

Book Release Blast for Lost In Seoul by Rachel Van Dyken and Colet Abedi (REVIEW)…….

Readers are reintroduced to the K-pop world courtesy of the young and talented artists of the My Summer In Seoul series.  From the very first page, the relationship between the youngest member of SWT, and the older woman who works for the band, makes for a complicated journey to HEA full of emotional ups and downs.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of Lost In Seoul by Rachel Van Dyken and Colet Abedi, along with my impressions of it, then add this second installment in the K-pop fueled series to your bookshelf too!

Lost in Seoul is a standalone new adult romance set in the competitive world of K-pop from bestselling authors Rachel Van Dyken and Colet Abedi.
A meet cute is supposed to be cute. Ours was sexy. Chaotic. Not normal.
Less than 10 minutes after we met, I realized we could never be. She was forbidden to me.
She held my hand behind his back.
I gripped hers, knowing it was wrong.
I was on the cusp of superstardom—and still I held her fingertips because it felt right.
Knowing that when it all went wrong, we would be done—the media would destroy us.
After all, not only was she four years older than me, she was the leader of SWT's sister—my best friend—and someone who could wreck everything we'd worked for.
But I still held on.
I'm lost. So lost.
I'm the youngest in the group, the one everyone sees as the most innocent. But they don't know the stolen moments with her.
The kisses.
The touching.
They don't know any of that.
So I keep acting as if I’m pure as the driven snow when really all it took was one chance meeting. To make.
Me.
Sin.
Hi, I'm Sookie, Maknae of SWT, the most famous K-pop group in the world. And I'm pretty sure I'm not just lost...nah, I'm about to fall.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

A previous taste of the forbidden continues to be a part of what binds K-pop artist Sookie to Ari, his band's business lawyer and sibling to his bandmate too.  Though these two know they shouldn't be together, for both personal and business reasons, they can't give up on the feelings engendered by being together.  The power of love can be potent in battles of the heart though and it's what had me rooting for them from the first page to the last.

With K-pop music gaining in popularity, this is a timely story that took a deep dive into this world and showed every aspect...warts and all.  Readers are given a look behind the curtain and can see that it's not all glitz and glamour.  It's a demanding world where you're treated like a commodity, where every aspect of the artist's life is controlled in order to make money.  You're nothing more than an image who is to look, act, and dress according to what the label wants and it's a way of living that keeps you constantly on edge and under pressure that starts to feel like an anchor.  With this world as a sad and painful backdrop, readers get to see the joy of the connection between Sookie and Ari, a relationship that brought meaning to Sookie's life along with acceptance.  To keep those feelings would require a battle as the record company has put a label of innocence and purity around Sookie's neck and his having an older lover isn't part of the image created for him.  This dichotomy leads to lots of ups and downs for this couple, investing me completely in their burgeoning HEA, in a journey that took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

This was a multi-layered story that dealt with business along with personal.  It showed harsh truths about the music world, showed the mental and physical toll of being a famous musician, and how easy it was to lose the real you in the K-pop world.  These truths made for moments of sadness, disappointment, and even anger over the treatment of the musicians who could easily become interchangeable if they didn't toe the line.  Watching the sweet and subtly sensual romance between Sookie and Ari brought a smile to my face.  It was one of the few things in this world that was real and it provided moments of empowerment that I cheered over.  I enjoyed seeing the other members of SWT, as well as their younger tour mates TestME, and their bonding over the demands of their record label was an immensely satisfying sight to see.  One last aspect of this story that I thoroughly enjoyed was super fan, Dueri.  She's not blinded by the images and can see each of the band members quite clearly.  She shows them the importance of their music to the people, and after everything is stripped down, she also shows them what's most important in life.  This was a story packed with a lot of stuff, issues and baggage that made for a bumpy road to HEA.  On a whole, I enjoyed the characters and hope to see more of them again soon!

My rating for this is B+

Book Release Blast for Textual Relations by Lauren Rowe (REVIEW)……

Readers looking for a charming and steamy age-gap romance will get all that and more with this fleshed-out story of a past novella.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of Textual Relations by Lauren Rowe, along with my impressions of it, then add it to your bookshelf!

Grayson McKnight
I haven’t been having much luck on the dating scene lately, ever since my breakup with my longtime college girlfriend. I thought being twenty-five and single would be a blast, but dating apps are trash and I’ve managed to get nothing but three fake numbers at my favorite bar.
Thankfully, the actual owner of the third fake number was kind enough to reply to let me know I’d texted the wrong number. She was warm and open and expressed curiosity about the fake number I’d been given, so we got to texting. She gave me some flirting advice, so I can get a real number next time. But she was so hot when dispensing her advice, and also so kind, I saved her as Hot Teacher in my phone and mustered the courage to ask her for drinks tonight. Not to get more advice, but to persuade her to give me a shot herself. And she said yes. Well, actually, she said maybe. But I honestly think she’s coming.
Sight unseen, I’m already far more attracted to Hot Teacher than anyone I’ve met on the dating scene, so I’m going to pull out all the stops tonight, if she comes to the bar. The thing is, I might be shy and terrible at flirting, but if Hot Teacher gives me a shot, I’m pretty confident I’ll be able to surprise her behind closed doors. I’ve been studying up so diligently since my breakup, in fact, I’m pretty damned sure I’d be able to blow her beautiful mind, if only she’ll give me the chance.
Textual Relations is a steamy older woman/younger man romantic comedy that will make you laugh out loud, fan yourself, and swoon your way to Grayson and Selena’s happily ever after.
NOTE: Portions of the full-length novel, Textual Relations, originally appeared in Lauren Rowe's much shorter novella, Wrong Number, Right Guy, that was only briefly available.

BUY AT AMAZON here.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

An expansion of an earlier novella, Ms. Rowe has fleshed-out the characters while still retaining the charm of this older woman/younger man romance.  In a story with a theme that is one of my favorites, Ms. Rowe nicely balances a cute and clever beginning with a sensuous connection that slowly evolves with each turn of the page.  While some of the dialogue gets a bit cheesy in later parts of the story, I found the text messaging between the lead characters to be the real winner here.

Grayson McKnight is a decadently delightful hero, one who's having a hard time with the current single's scene as he's a bit of a dork and having trouble navigating today's dating scene.  I found him an endearing hero though and would've been content with just a relationship full of text messaging.  I enjoyed seeing the ease he and Selena texted with one another and enjoyed seeing Grayson become more confident as time went on.  Though some would say these two are opposites, it's clear they were meant to be together in a relationship that was a bit predictable and cheesy at times, but was still satisfying.

Readers looking for a sweet and sensual tale will get just that with this age-gap romance featuring a near-perfect hero and an engaging build-up for the main couple.  Ms. Rowe definitely did it up right with her expansion of a past novella, an expansion that will please long-time fans while gaining new ones!

My rating for this is a B.

It's a bumpy and unexpected journey to HEA in this gripping contemporary tale that picks up where the previous book in this series left readers.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of the sports-fueled romance Bailout by MM Flynn, along with getting my impressions of this second installment in the Booker series, then add it to your bookshelf!

After Kat dropped a bomb on my life, I’m filling my time with parties and fake shit. I need something else to keep me going. Something that won’t make me think about her.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

After the truth bomb dropped at the end of the previous book, readers were left with their guts in a knot awaiting where things will go for Sam and Kat next.  This pair, whose connection once seemed unbreakable, have gone their separate ways at the start of this story.  Anger and fear are their new companions, wallowing in alcohol and partying, living amidst superficiality instead of meaningful substance.  Sam and Kat are clearly hurting here, and I hurt right alongside them, in a story that will take readers to the lowest of lows before putting them back on the road to healing.

With each turn of the page readers will find this is a heavy story, one teeming with angst, one that pulls you in from the very beginning.  Sam and Kat get put through the wringer here, weighed down by their pasts, while discovering new things about themselves on their journey of starting to heal.  This is NOT a standalone story, reading Booker is a necessity, as these two books make for a compelling dichotomy. The author pulls no punches in showing what Sam and Kat are going through, making this an occasionally difficult (but oh so rewarding) read.  There's a lot going on in this story, a lot is especially revealed regarding Kat, and I loved having the chance to get to know the real her and see her roll with the changes coming her way.  Sam and Kat's journey is one of patience, talking through things, along with forging a commitment.  Once they started listening to each other I truly felt hopeful for their future and was rooting for them as they slowly and steadily discovered a path to HEA.  Readers looking for an emotionally engaging tale will want to grab this one as it's a story worth all the tears!

My rating for this is an A-

My body is reaching for hers, but my mind . . . I scrub the scar on my scalp in frustration . . . my mind is a fucking mess. I don’t know what I want. I want her to feel terrible for lying to me. I hate her for it. I want to know why she lied, if she has a kid somewhere, where her husband is.
I want her to feel as tortured as I feel. No. More tortured.
I also want to make sure she’s all right. That she’s safe. That the press have left her alone. That her husband hasn’t found her.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

As a fan of sports romances, and someone who's read many of them, I was immediately delighted by the originality of the sport fueling this romance:  snowboarding being the sport fueling the story and bringing two very different people together.  From there the romance progresses in a similar trajectory, with a few unexpected twists and turns along the way, before ending on a cliffhanger.

Sam Booker is the star of snowboarding, a young stud full of cockiness, who at the start of the story has a life-altering injury change his life irrevocably.  For two months he's in a coma with Kate Peters as his nurse which leads to an instant connection building up between them.  Sam feels their immediate connection the moment he wakes up, he just needs to convince her of his feelings.  With each turn of the page, through words and deeds, he goes out of his way to win Kate's heart.  Some acts are romantic, some sweet, while some felt a bit silly and immature.  Through everything though he was committed to Kate and I was definitely rooting for him.

Kate Peters is the older woman, someone with a painful past and secrets galore.  She has lots of quirks and is someone who often seemed guarded.  Being the older woman leant her an air of maturity compared to Sam and it took awhile for me to buy into their romance because of it.  As the story progressed though things got steamier and steamier, Kate's secrets got closer to being revealed, and the ability for these two to form a permanent connection was left in the balance.  Readers will find themselves entertained by this older woman/younger man tale, left clamoring for more after a dramatic cliffhanger ending, as these two very unique characters and their emotionally intense romance has me rooting for them to find their HEA.

My rating for this is a B+
