Tamar Steele’s life was never supposed to be like this. I Heard Your Voice by Tanith Davenport puts a sexy spin on haunted reality shows with a medium who's not as powerful as he thinks and who uses erotic means to steal power from women who are. Until a ghost comes forth and points out the truth which changes peoples' lives completely. This ghostly intervention leads to some super sexy dreams and ultimately a HEA for two very deserving people.
Tamar Steele's had to do things she's not proud of to keep the supernatural business running, not realizing she's the one with true power. She's had to fight to hide her true feelings and attraction to another until the night a friendly ghost shows her the path to true love and power in one scorchingly unexpected scene. Through this she's finally able to stand up for herself which was cause for applause and succinctly brought down a fraud. Among the other members of the business, sweetly nerdy Jason Bray left a lasting impression. He was supportive of Tamar and his puppy dog sideways glances were heartwarming. His connection to the ghost was an unexpected twist which made the conclusion even more satisfying.
This novella was an entertaining read with some satisfying sexy interludes. The ghostly apparition was seamlessly incorporated into the well-written storyline and has me excited to discover what else Ms. Davenport has up her sleeve.
