A jilted book nerd, a plan for sweet revenge, and the two hockey stars who volunteer as her tributes in a sexy MFM standalone romantic comedy!

When I discover my boyfriend is cheating on me, I move out right away taking what I love most – my dog. As I fly out the door, I make sure to swipe the thing my ex loves best. The VIP tickets he won to a hockey game, complete with the chance to spend an evening with the city’s two biggest NHL stars.

I can’t wait to snap selfies with my ex’s idols and rub it in his face.

Except, when I head out with the two hockey studs, they have something else in mind besides sweet revenge. Would I like to spend the night…with both of them?

Talk about the VIP experience. That’s what I get for one knee-weakening, sheet-grabbing night. In the morning, I plan to return to my bestie’s house to crash on her couch with my dog.

But when they learn what happened with my awful ex, they ask me to be their temporary roomie for the week. Oh, and one of them needs my help with his grumpy reputation. The other? Well, he wants me to be his fake date at an upcoming wedding.

Looks like I’m about to get double pucked. Again.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

What starts off as a plan for revenge soon becomes something oh so much more in this sizzling rom-com featuring an unforgettable trio.  From the moment Trina meets hockey stars Chase and Ryder her life instantly changes with the word VIP taking on a new (and sexy) meaning.  With one offer after another she becomes more and more embroiled in the lives of the two best friends, bringing out hidden qualities that make these players so drool-worthy.

Trina's an immensely likable heroine, a sassy and bold woman who got blindsided by a cheating boyfriend.  She immediately has revenge on her mind but finds something completely unexpected with the two hockey players offering her so much more.  What starts out as an instant attraction quickly evolves into something more substantial, a deeper connection that empowers her to be all she can be.  She's treated like a queen in their presence, cared for and protected, while bringing out lots of intimate and scorching encounters.  Ryker and Chase are definite opposites, best friends who play on different teams, but who have a deep connection to one another.  They've never let a woman get between them before and with Trina they've created a beautiful balance where she seems to fit into their lives perfectly.  They each bring something to this triad, enriching their time together, making their interactions more intense both emotionally and physically.  Chase is the boy next door, charming with a quick smile.  He's sweet and oozes a warm and cuddly vibe.  Hockey's his life but so too is taking care of those he cares about.  He longs to make people happy and Trina was one lucky woman to have captured his attention.  Ryker's definitely his opposite, both in looks and personality.  He's a tatted-up, bearded, grump.  He's stoic with a brooding nature, someone who seems unapproachable.  He's a man of intensity though too, someone with a focused plan who brings the steam to the scenes with Trina and Chase.  These opposites end up burning up the pages while pulling at my heartstrings.  Their scenes together felt oh so right, warming my heart while making me blush in a connection that I bought into completely.  These three characters came together through a crackling connection, pieces of an erotic puzzle that was enriched by witty banter and a realistic discussion about making their triad work in the real world.  From start to finish I found this an entertaining read, a fun and flirty tale of acceptance and embracing happiness and love wherever you find it.  The characters are larger than life and had me cheering them on every step of the way in an unconventional romance that was pure perfection!

My rating for this is an A-
