Book Tour for Tirgearr Publishing-The Ninja Tattoo by Dellani Oakes (Promo & GIVEAWAY)

For those that love a bit of sexiness with their suspense comes The Ninja Tattoo by Dellani Oakes.  Both in and out of the bedroom the action is non-stop.  So let's learn more about this exciting book as well as the chance to win some wonderful goodies.  Welcome Dellani and The Ninja Tattoo......

Teague McMurtry spent the last six years of his life in the Army. Finally having enough of killing, he comes home, thinking he's put the nightmare behind him. When he meets beautiful and sultry Vivica Rambo, he thinks his life is taking a turn for the better.

Little does Teague know that he's been targeted for death by a violent biker gang led by Vivica's psychotic older brother. Now Teague must put his skills to the test to protect himself and the woman he loves.

EXCERPT:

"What dogs? I don't see any dogs," Jed said.
Teague smiled at his cousin. "Oh, there are dogs, trust me. You'd make a nice snack for Rex. He makes Cujo look small."
"Dude, that movie scared the shit outta me when I was a kid," Jed said, shuddering. "I still can't stand St. Bernards. I went on a domestic call a couple weeks ago. They had a St. Bernard and that thing did not like cops. Swear to God, I was ready to shoot it. At least the man quit beating his wife long enough to lock it up. I don't think he wanted to add that to his arrest report."
"He didn't want to add you to the dinner menu," Joel said rather unkindly.
"Let's talk about how much you like snakes, shall we?" Jed stabbed his sausage like it was trying to kill him. He stuffed it in his mouth, chewing angrily.
"Boys," Vivica said sternly. "Stop it. If we have to be around one another all night, you're going to have to get along. I refuse to be cast in the role of mother."
"If you are, can I be the daddy?" Jed flashed a lopsided grin at her, hopping up from the table when Teague took a swing at him.
"One daddy's enough," Vivica gave Teague a lingering kiss, picked up her dishes and strutted into the kitchen.
"Holy Mother of God!" Jed breathed when she was gone. "Teague, I love you like a brother, but I wish I'd seen her first!”

  3. Thanks for the excerpt and to Words of Wisdom for the review.

Dellani, I noticed at your website, you write books in various genres and time periods. Do you find researching a book set in another century more difficult and/or more demanding than a contemporary time period?

  4. Hello everyone and thank you Scarf Princess for inviting me to post.

Hi, Karen -- Researching for historical novels can be very difficult and time consuming. I happened to choose a time, 1739, where very few authors have set their books and research is sketchy at best. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to find a couple of people who helped me find resources. I swore up & down I would never write another historical -- I'm currently working on the sequel to "Indian Summer". Life's funny like that, huh? ;)

    1. Rachel, thank you! I love Teague too. No, he's not based on anyone real, although all my male leads have aspects of my husband in them. I love him too.

  6. Dellani...You're a radio show host? What's the topic(s) of your show? Is this is FL? I lived in the Tampa/St. Pete area for many years. The cover of your book is very sexy. I'm not familiar with the way Tirgearr works...did you have a lot of input into the cover?

    1. Hi, Catherine! My radio shows are done through Blog Talk Radio, an online service. I'm able to talk to guests from all over the world without leaving home! We talk about books and writing. Dellani's Tea Time airs every second Monday at 4:00 PM Eastern and I talk to authors & illustrators of young adult & children's books. What's Write for Me airs every fourth Wednesday at 3:00 Eastern and I talk to those who write for adults.

I'm so glad you like the cover. Yes, I had a great deal of input. Kemberlee and I looked at a lot of different photographs & chose that one together. We discussed background colors and she chose my absolute favorite red as the cover.
