Feature & Follow Friday.....

Hello all, it's that day of the week where we learn new things about each other and discover new blogs along the way.  We also help each other by becoming followers of one another.  Normally that following would be through GFC (which would be great if you'd still take a few seconds to do), but with that being eliminated for certain blogs (a big boo-hiss to that) I now ask that you follow through a RSS Feed (or Twitter, FB, or email) which you can find to the right.  I want to thank all of you ahead of time who choose to become a follower and make sure to let me know in the comments if you're new so I doubly make sure to follow you back.  And now for this weeks get to know me question....

Q: What is a deal breaker for you in a book? For example, do you abhor love triangles? Or can't deal with bad editing?

A:  Incredibly TSTL heroines who forgive and stay with a hero who treats her like a doormat qualify for books that get thrown at a wall (unless it's an eBook and then it just gets deleted).  Hidden baby storylines (as I mentioned hating last week) also turn me off and cause me to stop reading.  I actually hate hidden babies so much that I won't go near a book with that storyline.

Also, I understand about those heroines you mention and see how that can be so unappealing when reading.

  3. I agree completely with the first one! How can I like her at all if she's completely weak?

  9. I'm a new follower through facebook (Mary Kirkland) and Twitter (scarymary66)

For me I can read just about anything. The only deal breaker for me is it not be boring...If it's so boring that I fall asleep half way through it, I probably won't read another from that author.

  10. Hmmm, I don't like doormat heroines either. On the other hand, I am ok with forgiveness themes within limits. Sometimes forgiveness IS the right choice...it's just not the right choice over and over and over again. :)

I’m a new follower by GFC. You can find my FF here.

  11. Fortunately I haven't read any book where the heroine is that weak! But I totally understand how terrible such a book will be.
Thanks for the comment over at my blog earlier! I've followed you back!
