Book Release Blitz for Hero Next Door by Quinn Marlowe (REVIEW)……..

They say you can't go home again but the heroine of this small town romance has and discovers unexpected love along the way as well as a reason to stay.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of Hero Next Door by Quinn Marlowe, along with my impressions of this romance of neighbors becoming something much more, then add this third book in the Southern Heroes series to your bookshelf!

A gift she didn't want. A neighbor he definitely didn't need. And a week that would change everything.
Parker Pelton had it all figured out. A career as a manager, a music tour with her best friend, and a beautiful house in Nashville to come home to. But if she knows anything about life, it’s that you can’t trust things just because they look too pretty.
When she arrives home to find that she’s been given another house, she’s forced back to the hometown she always swore she’d put behind her. Arberry, North Carolina. Where her father was cruel and her first boyfriend even crueler.
The town she left as soon as she was old enough to rent an apartment by herself.
The town she swore she’d never set foot in again.
When she arrives at her new house, intent on figuring out how quickly she can get rid of it again, she’s confronted with another problem.
A new neighbor. A new neighbor that she
knows.
A new neighbor who came a little too close to touching her heart the last time she was in Arberry.
___________
Dev Hawthorne never set out to be a rancher. He never set out to be a cranky neighbor, either.
Most importantly, he never set out to suggest to Parker Pelton, the girl next door, that he help her turn her new house into a B&B rather than selling it to the developer who would ruin the neighborhood.
But if Dev knows anything about life, it’s that it rarely goes the way you expect it to. Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches.
When Parker finishes her business and is on her way out of town again, though, Dev realizes it’s one punch he’s not willing to roll with.
He never set out to fall in love with Parker Pelton. But now that he has, he’s going to find a way to make her stay—and a way to save her from the past that has never stopped haunting her.
Hero Next Door is a sweet small-town romance that features enemies to lovers, an unwilling hero, a girl with a broken heart, and a guy who never really fit in. There’s plenty of romance and a guaranteed HEA. Hero Next Door is the third book in the Southern Heroes series.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

The Southern Heroes series continues to sparkle with this slow-burn romance of two bruised souls, neighbors, who find a second chance both in life and love in this charming small town tale. When neighbors Parker and Dev first meet, the connection between them is more than obvious.  But it takes a second chance meeting for fate to do its job, giving them the push they need to give into their burgeoning feelings.  With both of them having painful pasts, they're a bit leery to put their hearts on the line (particularly Parker) but Dev's hard to ignore in the close proximity plans he crafted for them.  The sexual tension radiating off these two is utterly delicious, with the romantic and laid-back quality of this small town pushing them together, while the warm and loving tone kept me turning the pages in this well-crafted story that has me looking forward to what comes next.

My rating for this is a B+

*I got this book from the author for review in exchange for my honest opinion.

AUTHOR INFO:

Quinn Marlowe is the bestselling author of the Rossi and Southern Heroes series and a certified California girl. After studying English and film at UCLA, she decided to pursue storytelling full time. She loves red wine, cheesecake, perfect hash browns, really good punk rock, fast cars, autumn, and cooking, but she is most likely to be found spending time with her horses, snuggling her dogs, or taking orders from her small army of cats. She is a professional eye roller with a penchant for swearing like a sailor, and some of her favorite people (her nephews) are convinced she is a spy. She makes her home in San Diego with her loving husband and her prized collections of books and lipstick, neither of which ever fail to lift her spirits when she's feeling down.
