Book Release Blitz for How to Win The Girl by Sara Ney (REVIEW)……

Twin brothers find their hearts in different corners in this charming contemporary tale with a tad bit of Cyrano thrown into the mix.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of How to Win The Girl by Sara Ney, along with my impressions of it, then add this second installment in the Campus Legends series to your bookshelf!

I, Drake Colter, solemnly swear I do not want a girlfriend...Carefree and ridiculously good-looking, I have the entire student body eating from the palm of my hand—shouldn’t I let the ladies on campus have their fill rather than being tied down?
If only my brother Drew would take notes from my playbook. As identical twins, we share the same voice, the same face, and the same physique; it’s virtually impossible to tell us apart—but that’s where the similarities end.
Lately, my brother has been whining about wanting to settle down. He longs for affection, companionship and all the bullshit that goes along with it blah blah blah.
Problem is, he’s hopeless when it comes to dating. It’s seriously embarrassing to watch, considering we’re identical; everyone thinks I’m him and everyone thinks he’s me.
Luckily I’m not intimidated by women and have plenty of experience. I might not want to find myself a girlfriend, but that doesn't mean I can’t help him. Dude never needs to know!
And that’s the very thing that lands me in trouble...

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

After reading the first installment in the Campus Legends series I knew I had to read the next release...and for the most part this book was an enjoyable one.  The author has a fun and easy writing style, giving readers crackling banter and appealing characters.  It's a quick read, one that made me smile while warming my heart and making me blush.

With this book readers get a modern-day twist on Cyrano de Bergerac as one brother tries to help his twin get the girl but ends up falling for her himself after accidentally swiping her pic on a dating app he created to help his brother find love.  The road to HEA may be paved with good intentions, but things get complicated the more he tries to help his brother, the deeper the hole he digs for himself while pretending to be his brother.  Drake's a bit complicated at the start of the story, a bit cocky and arrogant, someone loving his bachelor lifestyle and reveling in all the female attention.  His twin brother Drew though is ready to find love and with how close he is to his twin he sets out to help him find true love.  That's the part of Drake I loved, the one who would do anything for family.  Deep down he has a good heart, it just takes the right woman to bring it out.

Luckily, fate has other plans for Drake as it's only by accident that he winds up with Daisy.  She's a strong and sassy heroine, someone who doesn't tolerate BS, and is the perfect balance in keeping Drake a bit more humble.  Face to face they rubbed each other wrong, but by accident (and through texts) their connection was obvious.  Their connection crackled from the very start with flirty texts and the aura of sexual tension surrounding them.  With the issue of his pretending to be someone else thankfully dealt with early on, Drake and Daisy are given ample time to write their own love story.  They were a steamy pair with a road to HEA that was a laid-back journey with a tad bit of drama, Drake discovering new things about himself, while intriguing tidbits were left behind regarding Drew that have me excited for his story to be told next.  While this installment wasn't quite as good as the last, it still pulled me in and left me feeling happy and satisfied by the turn of the final page!

My rating for this is a B+

*I got this book from the author for review in exchange for my honest opinion.
