MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

Just in time for the holidays comes this collection of scorching short stories influenced by the Twelve Days of Christmas carol and introducing readers to all sorts of crackling couples, some that are in pairs and some in ménage relationships.  Each story is based on a certain day in the carol, with some more successful at representing their day than others.  On a whole though this collection offers readers everything they expect from an anthology, with some past characters returning while new ones are brought to life.  It's all in support of the Trevor Project and is a decadently delightful stocking stuffer to warm readers up from the cold temps.

Amongst all the stories, I found Goner by Fiona Cole a thoroughly wonderful read set in the author's Voyeur world.  It features Atlas and Amara in consensual play that burned up the pages.  Between all the dirty talk and steamy interactions this was a blush-inducing tale that has me definitely wanting to read the other books in this series too.  It was a quick and simple story, a decadent little morsel full of temptation.

Another favorite of mine was Gift Me by M Malone, a charming romance of a nerd and his pretty next door neighbor, and their sweet and sexy journey to HEA.  Yes, it's a bit predictable, but it pulled at my heartstrings while putting a smile on my face.  Deacon and Noelle were meant to be, a likable pairing I found easy to relate to while rooting them on to finally just give into each other.

Readers will find much to like about this anthology with its differing degrees of steam and its intriguing array of characters.  The short word counts will make these the perfect reads for before bedtime, the perfect reads to give lots of Sweet Dreams!  So add this to your bookshelf for your own Twelve Naughty Days Before Christmas!

My rating for this is a B+

*I got this book from the author for review in exchange for my honest opinion.
