Fans of sports romances have much to look forward to with this older woman/younger man tale...a romance full of speed bumps, sweetness, and steam.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of Reverse Pass by Maggie Rawdon, along with getting my impressions of it, then add this fourth installment in the Plays & Penalties series to your bookshelf!

Violet
He’s the star wide receiver and the most wanted player on campus. He has it all—the body, the voice, the charm and the dimples.
Plus he flirts constantly and cooks dinner shirtless in my kitchen.
There’s just one problem—he’s my best friend’s younger brother.
She sent him to live with me so I can help him get his life back in order. Which makes him off limits in every way possible.
But now we share a wall and secrets.
Like the confession he makes after he accidentally walks in on me one night.
Ben
I’m usually so good with women that my teammates come to me for advice.
But they don’t know my secret. They don’t know about her.
The one woman I want—the one I can’t stop thinking about—barely knows I exist.
Until everything goes wrong, and I land on her doorstep.
The worst day of my life might just turn out to be my luckiest.
Because she’s fresh off a broken engagement—single for the first time in forever. And she can’t keep her eyes off of me.
I just need to convince her I’m worth breaking the rules.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

As a fan of sports-fueled romances this book captivated me from the very start with its crackling connection between a slightly older woman and the younger man who's the brother of her best friend.  From the moment these two met there was a very obvious connection that was both steamy and sensual, growing stronger the more they saw each other openly and honestly.  Living together shows them without any facades and as they fell for each other, I fell for them too in a romance that put a smile on my face.

Ben is the proverbial football god with guys wanting to be him and gals just plain wanting him!  A moment of bad behavior though leads to his suspension from the team and no place to live.  His sister luckily has the perfect idea for his housing dilemma...and that's when everything changes for him.  Ben's a decadently delightful hero, sexy and sweet...with a longtime crush on his new roommate that he's just now ready to do something about.  He's charming, witty, and the banter between him and Violet was everything to me!  He charmingly worked his way into Violet's heart, cooking and cleaning, reading romance novels, and showing a mature and endearing side of himself to her.  With each turn of the page I fell more and more in love with him and was cheering him on in his claiming of Violet.

Violet's the kind of heroine you can relate to and the connection between her and Ben practically jumped off the page courtesy of witty banter and undeniable chemistry.  She's fresh off a break-up but is leery of putting her heart on the line once again, especially with someone who's seen as a playa.  She continues to see Ben as immature, but behind the facade is a determined man who's the perfect match to Violet...if she just takes a chance on Ben.

This was a quick read, one full of steam and sparkling banter that amped up the sensuality.  Ben's the quintessential book boyfriend, making me smile and blush, along with warming my heart.  Violet's a good match...and I was particularly proud of her when she proved herself worthy of Ben at the end of the story.  Along with a delightful main couple was an equally entertaining cast of secondary characters who leant an air of family and familiarity to this book, giving a sense of family to the story. From start to finish I found this an immensely satisfying tale, one that gave me an afternoon of delights that I wholeheartedly recommend to others!

My rating for this is an A-

Book Release Blast for Tristan & Isabel: Apartment 11F by Aly Stiles (REVIEW)……

Readers will find an emotionally intense romance between two people trying to make something of their lives in this enemies-to-lovers tale that will keep you glued to the pages with each new page amping up the steam and the heartache.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of Tristan & Isabel: Apartment 11F by Aly Stiles, along with my impressions of it, then be sure to add this third installment in the Wreck Me series to your bookshelf!

Her life is just beginning.

His ended before it began.

Isabel Gardner knows two things for certain. One, she fought like hell to scrape together a life worth living. Two, nothing good will come of her best friend’s brother crashing on their couch after being released from prison. Her crush on the cocky party boy was bad enough in high school. After four years in a state penitentiary, who knows what chaos his dangerous charm will bring?

If only she could hate him as much as she wants him.

Tristan Haverford loved being Suncrest Valley’s notorious bad boy—until a tragic accident tore his life apart. He may have changed, but the world he left doesn’t want him back. Even worse, the forbidden sparks with Isabel have become an untamed blaze he’ll have to control more than ever.

Because Tristan also knows one thing for certain:

Their painful story may be built on lies, but it’s the devastating truth that will break them.

Tristan & Isabel: Apartment 11F is a standalone enemies-to-lovers, second-chance romance in the emotionally gripping Wreck Me series.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

Over the years Ms. Stiles has become quite the underrated author, an author with a talent for playing with our emotions before putting us back together in anticipation of her next unforgettable book release!  With this third installment in the Wreck Me series readers will find a story that was well worth the wait, a story of second chances that will pull you into the lives of three people trying to start their lives over.  This series is called Wreck Me for a reason and with each turn of the page I shed a few more tears, fell in love with Tristan a bit more, all while rooting for these characters to rise above the nastiness of others.

At one time Tristan Haverford was the boy everyone wanted to hang out with, the life of the party with a larger than life personality.  A tragic accident changed his life irrevocably though, leading to a 4 year stint in jail that's left him a shell of his former self, and desperately trying to start over.  It's a transition that doesn't go smoothly though as others see him as a pariah, someone not worth knowing, and definitely not worth giving a second chance to.  The town's prejudices were painful to witness, breaking my heart as Tristan just wanted to live his life in peace.  Despite the prejudices there's much more to Tristan than what others think and see, he's a truly caring and supportive man with a big heart, someone who's willing to sacrifice everything for those he loves.  Unfortunately there's not many willing to support him after the town and his own parents turn their backs on him.  All he has is his sister Kim, who lets him live with her, and Isabel who's also his new roommate and who once had a crush on him.  The three of them become a formidable trio, it becomes them against the world.  I was drawn to all three of these characters, ached for each of them, and the rocky road their lives have traveled on.  For Isabel, she grew up poor under the prejudice of living in a trailer park before her hard work paid off with a college degree in engineering.  The crush she once had on Tristan was thrown back in her face, for a reason, but Tristan needs her more than air if he truly wants to start over now.  Isabel needs Tristan too as her current relationship is toxic, abusive and controlling, as well as dangerous to Tristan's future.  Kim has also had a rough time since her brother got sent away.  Her life fell apart, the plans she had for herself went up in smoke, and the only family she has supporting her now is Tristan.  All three of these characters needed a chance to start over and I was rooting for them wholeheartedly to find any small moment of happiness.

With each turn of the page the truth of what happened four years ago threatens to come out...and while truths are necessary, I felt that things were going to take an even more painful turn.  From start to finish this was a story full of harsh realities, a hero who was truly heroic at the expense of his soul, and the heartwarming proof of the love of a good woman making all the difference.  There were lots of tears and lots of anger at the small-minded townspeople, moments nicely balanced with those occasional acts of human decency, as well as the growing heartfelt connection between Tristan and Isabel.  It all makes for a powerful tale, one teeming with painful truths, that kept me glued to the pages while I raced to yet another unforgettable conclusion from Ms. Stiles!

My rating for this is an A+

Book Release Blitz for Hers to Tame by Avery Samson (REVIEW)......

Opposites attract in this charming tale of a playboy and a quiet literature teacher when he discovers that the way to her heart is through books.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of Hers to Tame by Avery Samson, along with getting my impressions of this third installment in the Sideswiped series, which will have you wanting to add it to your bookshelf!

Maggie Emerson has known Colin Rhett since meeting him in her friend’s swimming pool her freshman year of college. Everyone knows the playboy with the movie star good looks. They also know he goes through women with barely a second thought. So what does she do when he appeals to the literature teacher in her? She gives him a book, of course. What about when he doesn’t stop at one? Maybe the Colin everyone thinks they know is really much deeper than anybody gives him credit for. If she looks, really looks at him, will she find the man of her dreams or that same playboy she thought he always was?
Colin is a successful attorney with a different woman every week, but what he really wants is the one woman he can’t have. All he has wanted since that fateful day in the swimming pool six years ago is to be her hero, but there was always a reason holding him back. Will this finally be his chance to prove to her that he can be the man she needs? If he has to read every damn book in the bookstore, he’s going to fight this time for that right.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

Though this is the third installment in the Sideswiped series that shouldn't stop readers who haven't read this series before from picking this one up.  Delightful dialogue, steamy interactions, and a connection teeming with sexual tension fuels this story and kept me fully engaged from the first page to the last.  By the turn of the final page I was ready to dive into more books by Ms. Samson, ready to be charmed even more by her crackling banter and sweet and sexy exchanges.

At the start of this story Colin Rhett doesn't make a good first impression as I found him to be an arrogant manwhore early on, a lawyer who's a bit quick to anger.  I couldn't picture a man like him paired up with the kind and likable Maggie, but once he committed to making her his he went above and beyond to win her over in a journey of text messages, heartfelt talks, and other endearing actions that put a smile on my face.  Throughout their time together Colin slowly won me over too.  He'd been attracted to Maggie for years, but with her being younger he held off in claiming her.  Once he sees her again though, after years apart, he commits to claiming her in an endearing journey of second chances that made for a charming romance.  It's a charming connection that brought out his protective side, brought out a flirty and playful nature that just felt right.

Maggie Emerson is best friend to Lily which means seeing Lily's brother (the sexy playboy Colin) from time to time.  From the moment she first laid eyes on Colin, Maggie has always been attracted to him, even though she knew he was not the commitment type and lived far away from her which made commitment even more difficult.  She can at least admire him from afar though and does so from the moment he decides to woo her in a journey of text messages and literary flirtations. Theirs is a romance full of sexual tension with their interactions growing ever steamier amidst their verbal foreplay. Through it all Maggie was an immensely appealing heroine, a straightforward young woman who brought out the best in Colin in a journey that warmed my heart.

This was a quick read, one with witty banter and sweet and sexy interactions.  It featured two apparent opposites who made an entertaining and endearing match in a romance that was decadently delightful and that still has me smiling long after the final page was turned.

My rating for this is an A-

Book Tour for Three’s A Crowd by Everly Ashton (REVIEW).....

Two people with an antagonistic past between them find things turning complicated when these roommates start feeling more than just friendly vibes between them in a story full of misunderstandings, self-doubts, and steamy encounters.  Keep reading to get a tempting glimpse of Three’s A Crowd by Everly Ashton, along with getting my impressions of this second installment in the Love in Apartment 3B series, then add this new release to your bookshelf!

Damn, the man has the body of a god. Like a real-life statue of David or something. It's unfair that someone so annoying looks so delicious.
Keane and I have been enemies since childhood. He thinks I'm a Goody Two-shoes and I think he's an arrogant a$$hole.
Years later nothing's changed except the fact that we're cohabitating in the same apartment along with his sister, who's also my best friend.
Even though I'm fighting like hell to keep the city from tearing down the building he wants to replace with a new restaurant, we somehow find ourselves doing the horizontal mambo.
Maybe it's the magic of the letter I found in our ancient apartment that predicted I'm going to meet the man of my dreams. Or maybe it's just hormones. But just when I start to buy into us as a couple, someone from his past shows up with a shocking secret that Keane's adamant is untrue.
Now I'm questioning if I can really trust the guy who told the entire football team in high school that I still slept with a stuffie at fifteen years old. In my experience, the answer is no.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

Readers will find their week off to a delightful start the moment they pick up this charming and carefree frenemies to lovers romance.  Set in the world of the Love In Apartment 3B series, readers will find this a romance full of laughs and steamy interactions courtesy of an appealing couple whose combustible connection has you cheering them on every step of the way.

Fiona and Keane have known each other for years and have always had an antagonistic relationship, a relationship that hinted at even more (unspoken) intense feelings between them.  When Fiona and her friend Marlowe are in need of a roommate though those intense feelings bubble to the surface as it's Marlowe's brother Keane who moves in.  From that moment on things become bumpy as unexpected attraction and life throws all sorts of twists and turns at Keane and Fiona on their journey to HEA.  Theirs is an entertaining journey, a journey that showed them to be a formidable pairing, and I loved watching everything unfold between them.  On the surface they seem like opposites.  Fiona's always been the do-gooder of their group, always helping others and never expecting anything in exchange.  Keane's a bit more self-involved but charming with his fun and flirty demeanor.  What starts out as casual between them, an itch they wanted to scratch, soon becomes something more meaningful.  Life throws a lot at them throughout the story, but they manage to always find a way to make their new relationship work.  Through it all I found the banter witty, intimate moments balanced out with laugh out loud humor and interactions that were both sweet and sensual.  Along with its appealing main couple were glimpses of the rest of their friend group which made for an even more relatable story.  Marlowe especially was given a chance to shine and by the turn of the final page I'm definitely looking forward to seeing where things go for her next.  On a whole this was a decadently delicious romance that warmed my heart while putting a smile on my face and I recommend it to all those looking for a fast, fun, and flirty frenemies to lovers romance!

My rating for this is an A.

Book Release Blitz for See Me After Class by Meghan Quinn (REVIEW).....

It's a combustible tug of war between a woman starting a new phase in her life as a teacher and her friend's sexy but annoying brother in this romance full of witty banter and steamy interactions.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of See Me After Class by Meghan Quinn, along with getting my impressions of it, which will have you wanting to add this fun and flirty read to your bookshelf!

"Did you have relations with my brother..."
Good question.
I’d like to preface this by saying it was never my intention to ever get involved in a workplace romance, let alone get involved with the most surly, agitating, and pompous man I’ve ever met who just so happens to be my new friend’s brother.
My intentions were to show students how English and reading books could actually be fun and make a new life for myself in the suburbs of Chicago.
But so far, I’ve managed to be called into the principal’s office.
Coerced into participating in the teacher's badminton league.
And instigated into passionate fights with Arlo Turner over education and decorum while losing my underwear at the same time.
Known as Mr. Turns Me On, he’s the reason I might get fired from my first ever teaching job.

EXCERPT:

PROLOGUE:
**GREER**
“Before we get started, I’ve been told I need to ask you a question.” Stella sits cross-legged in front of me, a nervous look on her face, water in hand.
“Oh?” I ask, trying to act casual as I bring my glass of red wine to my lips. I have a scary inkling what this might be about.
She glances over at Coraline and winces. “Uh, I feel weird asking."
Oh God...I was right.
Shifting, I say, “You know, we don’t have to—"
“Then why bring it up if you’re not going to propose your query?” Keiko asks impatiently while pushing her green-rimmed glasses up on her nose. “You know the frequency of these meetings is dependent upon staying within the comprehensive itinerary I composed during my lunch break."
“Cool your bloomers, Keeks,” Coraline says while taking a large sip from her wine glass. “I want to know what’s making Stella so fidgety."
The four founding members of the Ladies in Heat Book Club—aka my mismatched collection of friends—each bring diverse and unique character traits to our group.
Keiko “Keeks” Seymour—resident AP chemistry teacher at Forest Heights High School. Her social etiquette is lacking, her intelligence is off the charts, and she’d rather play with beakers than penises. She wasn’t thrilled about the book club name and made a noble attempt to explain why her suggestion, the Austen Empowerment Collaborative, was far more credible. Majority ruled, she lost.
Stella Garcia—Spanish teacher at Forest Heights and my co-coach. Currently single, makes the best tamales I’ve ever had, and is one stamp away from getting a free donut at Frankie Donuts. Can be shy at times, but when it comes to her family and friends, she doesn’t take shit from anyone. Loyal to the core, one of the reasons I adore her.
Coraline “Cora” Turner—recent divorcée and living with her brother, Arlo. Jobless at the moment and couldn’t care less about it since both she and Arlo have enough inheritance to last them a lifetime. Often annoyed by her older brother or annoying him, doesn’t partake in Twitter—says it’s a filthy pool of opinions, and is the first to offer up a bottle of wine.
Then there’s me...
Greer Gibson—twenty-four-year-old fresh to the teaching scene as Forest Heights’s new English teacher and women’s volleyball coach. I love running, have a penchant for a man in a cardigan, and can get a little noisy in the classroom while teaching. I currently share a classroom wall with Arlo Turner, Forest Heights most prestigious English teacher, and might have lost my underwear—
“Out with it, Stella,” Cora says, snapping at her.
“Please, so we can proceed,” Keeks says, straightening her notepad on her lap.
Stella looks me in the eyes and says, “Brock wants to know if there’s anything going on between you and Turner. Apparently, Turner won’t say a thing, but Brock thinks there’s some strong sexual tension building."
Cora whips her head to me, her eyes wide. “Are you getting it on with my brother?"
Finger pointed in the air, Keeks leans in and says, “The proper term amongst company would be coitus.”
Rolling her eyes, Cora asks, “Did you have coitus with my brother?"
“You could also say intercourse if that amuses your jargon more,” Keeks adds. “Or copulating would be sufficient. But if you are inclined toward romantic terminology, since we are in the presence of the book club, you could say lovemaking or performing intimate acts. Although, given the circumstances of when coitus took place—in the work environment—I would deduce that your actions were performed carnally rather than with the interest of developing a devoted accord."
“Good God, Keeks,” Cora says, irritated. “Who cares what it’s called? We just want to know if it happened.” Cora looks me in the eyes. “Did it?"
Did it...
Good question.
I’d like to preface this by saying it was never my intention to ever get involved in a workplace romance when I was hired at Forest Heights, let alone get involved with the most surly, agitating, and pompous man I’ve ever met.
My intentions were to show students how English and reading books could actually be fun, bring the volleyball team to a state championship, and make a new life for myself in the suburbs of Chicago.
But so far, I’ve managed to be called into the principal’s office.
Infiltrate the teachers’ athletic league.
And had passionate fights with Arlo Turner over education, decorum, and student-teacher friendships. Not to mention I’ve lost my panties to him in my dreams more than I care to admit.
Why did this all happen?
Simple.
The man dresses in a cardigan, that’s how.
Arlo Turner. The bane of my existence, annoyance to my sanity, and the only man who’s ever made me want to spread my legs in a classroom.
He’s torn down my metaphorical walls, strapped on a cottony cardigan—pushed up the sleeves—and has driven me to the brink of insanity, so now whenever I hear the mention of his name, my legs automatically spread, and my heart rate picks up.
Known as Mr. Turns Me On, he’s the reason my star athlete is struggling to keep her grades up.
He’s the reason I tend to avoid the teacher breakroom.
And he’s the reason I might get fired from my first ever teaching job.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

After a chaotic week it was a welcome distraction found amongst the pages of this frenemies to lovers workplace romance.  Through fun and flirty banter, interactions teeming with sexual tension, and a larger than life cast of characters I was thoroughly entertained and I applaud Ms. Quinn for crafting this just what I needed read!

Greer Gibson's ready to take on the world in her new job teaching English at a prestigious public school, ready to mold young minds with decorum.  While most of her coworkers inspire her, have her befriending them, there's one who has her emotions all in a turmoil....Mr. Turner.  What starts off as a difference in teaching styles soon turns more personal.  As playful pranks from Greer and her new friends start heating things up (as well as giving readers numerous LOL moments) feelings slowly start simmering between her and Mr. Turner and it made for a decadently delightful dance that soon turns combustible.  Greer's an immensely appealing heroine, down to earth, with an outgoing personality that had her making friends easily and witnessing their interactions made me feel like part of their group.

Arlo Turner didn't like Greer from the moment she was hired and didn't hesitate to let his unhappiness show.  From that moment on a war was waged between Greer and her newfound friends and the rather insufferable Arlo...a prank war that gave me plenty to laugh about.  Arlo knows he can't compete when it comes to pranks, his weapon is his dominant nature, a nature that amped up the sensuality between them while causing unexpected problems and hurt feelings.  Arlo's a bit hard to warm-up to early on as he's a bit standoffish, a bit judgmental, but I knew there had to be something redeemable about him as Greer wouldn't have been drawn to him otherwise. It's clear there's a hidden depth behind his arrogance and it was even more clear that Greer was just the woman to push him to bring out all he had to offer.  From start to finish he might not have always been the picture perfect hero, but he was the hero Greer needed after doing all he could to earn her heart.

The relationship between Greer and Arlo took me to happy highs along with a few emotional lows (due to Arlo being a douchebag).  I laughed, my heart hurt a time or two, as well as having my fingers singed from the combustible connection between these two teachers.  Along with this entertaining main couple I found myself captivated by the very likable secondary characters, characters I'd love to see more of.  Readers looking for a playful and steamy romance, one that will take them away from their troubles for awhile, will find this the perfect recipe for satisfaction and should add it to their bookshelf right now!

My rating for this is an A-

Book Teaser for How to Date a Younger Man by Kendall Ryan...

The attraction between an older woman, and the younger brother of her best friend, jumps off the pages of this scorching read teeming with sexual tension. Keep reading to get a tempting taste of How to Date a Younger Man by Kendall Ryan, then keep counting down the days until this fun and flirty romance hits bookshelves on July 21st!

Tips for Surviving a Fling with a Sexy Younger Man
First, you’d think as a thirty-something-year-old woman, I’d be immune to Griffin’s flirty comments and six-pack abs.
You’d think that his carefree playboy attitude, or the fact that he’s still finishing grad school, would deter me.
You’d be wrong.
If you accidentally bang your best friend’s younger brother, here are a few important tips...
One: Do not brag to your friend about how well-endowed her brother is.
Two: Do not go back for seconds (or thirds).
Three: Do not let him see your muffin top or jiggly behind. And definitely don’t let him feed you cookies in bed. Cookies are bad. Remember that.
Four: Act like a damn grown-up and apologize for riding him like a bull at the rodeo. And do not flirt with him when he laughs at said apology.
Five: This one is crucial, so pay attention.
Do not, under any circumstances, fall in love with him.
