Book Tour for Mack by Heather Young-Nichols (REVIEW)…..

A single kiss is never forgotten, but leads to lots of complications, in this rockstar romance of second chances.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of Mack by Heather Young-Nichols, along with getting my impressions of this fifth installment in the Pushing Daisies series, which will have you wanting to add it to your bookshelf!

Bri
Several years ago, Mack and I shared a kiss.
He’s acted like he barely knows me ever since.
Now I’m on tour with Pushing Daisies thanks to my best friend Daisy and there’s nowhere for Mack to hide.
I’m here and I’m ready to figure things out that it won’t be weird when I’m with his family anymore.
Even if that means I leave this tour with a broken heart.
Mack
I spent a lot of time just trying to keep my siblings in line.
Then my sister goes and invites her best friend and my entire life is turned on end.
I pushed her away because she's too young but we’d shared a kiss that I can’t forget.
Now she’s here and looks up at me with those big eyes…She could ask me for anything and I’d do it. Except to be with her.
Bri is everywhere and I can’t avoid her.
I don't think I'm strong enough to resist her anymore.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

As a fan of rockstar romances there's much to enjoy about this fifth installment in the Pushing Daisies series.  With its crackling banter and angst-fueled tale of an older man tempted by the younger best friend to his sister, readers will find themselves captivated by the sexual tension teeming between these two.  Their romance might've been seen as forbidden by some, but I found it oh so right!

Growing up Mack lived a life where much of his time, and much of himself, was devoted to others.  He's spent so much time denying himself that, despite never forgetting the kiss he had with Bri, he continues to fight his feelings for her.  The close quarters they have with each other soon makes her (and their kiss) harder and harder to ignore in a tale full of temptation.  Through all their push/pull moments Bri is a likable heroine full of joy and love and I was rooting for her every step of the way to get Mack to lower his emotional walls.  Together they were a sizzling pair, connecting in a romance that was clearly meant to be.  Though there's nothing new to this storyline, it's the characters that will have readers enjoying this series ender, and waiting with bated breath for what this author crafts next!

My rating for this is a B.

*I got this book from the author for review in exchange for my honest opinion.

AUTHOR INFO:

Heather Young-Nichols is a USA Today Bestselling author of contemporary and paranormal romances. A native of the great and often very cold state of Michigan, she is better known at home and to her friends as the Snarker-in-Chief. A job she excels at beyond anything she could have imagined. She loves many things, but especially cold coffee, hot books, and baseball. But not necessarily in that order.
