After the life and death circumstances of the previous book in this series, The Druid Stone, life has become rather blasé for lovers Cormac and Sean. A return visit to Galway is just what they need to rekindle the flame and my oh my how things do burn! What follows is one truly scorching extended scene of heavy duty bdsm play that set my eyes on fire from its intensity. Cormac is strong willed and thoroughly enjoyed his role as master. Sean's not used to asking for what he wants and is the more quiet of the two, but this interlude had him speaking his mind and being richly rewarded for it. This interlude took their relationship to a new and stronger level and cemented the rightness of their being together.
Fans of bdsm will be supremely satisfied in this short story that's long on intensity. For readers like me who read this genre only occasionally, a drink of water will be needed afterwards to recover from how steamy these two are together. Seeing these two together again was extremely satisfying and reenforced the idea of a HEA. I'm definitely on board for anytime these authors want to bring back the ever so sexy Cormac and sweetly sensual Sean for any escapades in or out of the bedroom.
