Fashion Monday Madness.....

Welcome to Monday everyone!  We have a fun week planned, especially on Wednesday May 4th when author Mysti Parker is here with a guest post and the chance to win a digital copy of her new book A Ranger's Tale.  I've had the chance to read the book and thoroughly enjoyed it and my review will be up tomorrow to get you excited for the contest.  Since I had a special edition of Fashion Monday Madness on Saturday due to the Royal Wedding, today's edition will be an abbreviated version.  So get comfy and let me know what you think of......

The Good....


Blake Lively looks glamorous in this perfectly draped dress reminiscent of ocean waves.  The hair and minimal accessories are perfect to allow the dress to shine on its own.  After being on the lower end of my lists many times in the past, it's about time for some good gossip directed her way.

The Bad....


Anna Kendrick came so close to getting this right except for the band-aid look she's sporting.  The style of the dress works for her but the darker bands look like a television show blacking out the naughty parts.  Although, maybe that's what she's trying to do?

The Ugly....


Jessica Simpson looked better in her tacky Daisy Duke costume than this Granny-quilt inspired mini-dress.  The pattern is distracting and just plain ugly, which is a shame since she's been getting in better shape lately.  Add in the cavewoman-looking hair and I'm left longing for her ditzy MTV days.

    I am a fan of Gossip Girl and I hate every dress that Blake Lively wears, they are always so trashy looking, but the dress she's that you featured is gorgeous and I think she finally got it right.

    You had me in stitches over the comments about Anna Kendrick's dress- now that's all I see when I look at it :)

    Seriously, Jessica Simpson's dress is awful.

    Thanks so much for visiting Neri! And yes, normally Blake looks really bad. That's why, when I saw the picture, I did a double-take. I couldn't believe it was her and that she looked so good. I love the different hue of blues that run through the dress, adds an interesting dimension.

    I can hear the white noise a tv makes when it goes off the air...seeing Anna Kendrick's dress and your review. I think it might have worked better for her if it had a slighly longer hemline, that continued the "black-out" theme.

    Blake Lively looks like a modern-day Rita Hayworth in this siren-esque gown. Who-ever styled her in this gown, deserves some big kudos!
