Follow Friday....

So happy that things are up and running again.  I hate not being able to get things done.  So we've definitely earned our Friday.


This is the day of the week where we get to know each other better by answering a question devised by our lovely hostess Parajunkee.  We also gain new follo, so please let me know if you're a new follower since I automatically follow back.  And now for this week's question....

Q. The Blogger Apocalypse made me a little emotional. What is the most emotional scene in a book that you have read lately?

 

A.  I don't think I'm giving away any spoilers by saying the death of Rue in Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games made me bawl like a baby.

    Yes it was so depressing especially when Katniss started singing to her! I cried too! Im a new follower =)

    Arg! I wish I could read this series! I just seem to put it to the side all the time! There are literally so many good books and so little time to read it in! Maybe me and my Kindle should go and live on a lonely island somewhere!

    Hi thanks for stopping by my blog and following. Am now following you back. Also Sisters Red is a great book - it's a modern retelling of Little Red Riding Hood.

    Also oddly enough I didn't cry when Rue died. But Mockingjay made me cry for about the last 100 pages (it began with Finnick)...and I was really upset for days after.

    Oh that's a good one! I love The Hunger Games. For me, the last book in the series was the most emotional (especially concerning Finnick).

    I agree, Rue's death was an unforgettable scene.

    My choice is a debut novel I reviewed this week, it made me laugh, and cry. No book has affected me quite so strongly in a very long time..take a look here:
