Follow Friday.......

Another week has flown by and unfortunately I didn't get as much reading done as I wanted, but that's what the weekend is for.  I do want to remind everyone of the book giveaway I have going on right now for Once Bitten, Forever Burned  by Eve Langlais & Stacey Kennedy.  There's not a lot of entries and this is an exciting book so definitely sign up here.

This is the day of the week where we get to know each other better by answering a question devised by our lovely hostess Parajunkee.  We also gain new followers, so please let me know if you're a new follower since I automatically follow back.  And now for this week's question....

Q. It's circle time. Time for us to open up and share. Can you tell us FIVE quirky habits or things about you? We all have them...

--I'm obsessed with The Golden Girls and know all the words to every episode.  I picture myself as one of them in another twenty years.

--I have to finish every book I read even if it's awful.  I may skim the remainder of the book, but I still have to finish it or I feel bad for the author.

--I clean my apartment on the same days every month and go in the same order of chores each time.

--I'm obsessed with Doctor Who (which you all know), but I recently bought a sonic screwdriver that lights up, makes sounds, and writes in invisible ink and while watching the show I use it to pretend I'm The Doctor.

--Rick Springfield was the first concert I ever went to and John Schneider was the first famous person I sent a fan letter to.

So there you have it.  My dirty little secrets.  Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful weekend!

  1. New follower here! I used to have that same issue with even finishing horrible books. Book blogging whooped that right out of me.

I'm definitely going to need to get myself a sonic screw driver.

  3. Hopping through. I hated The Golden Girls as a kid and then got really into it in college. I should watch it again.

  5. Returning the follow!

I would love to get more into the Golden Girls; I've only seen a few episodes but I've enjoyed it. Which one are you?

  6. New follower! I too am obsessed with the Golden Girls. I watch them every night at about 3AM, and can recite the words to the episodes as well. They never get old and I always laugh at them as if I've never seen the episode before! Hae a good one!

  7. Hey,
Kinda like your number 1, I love Designing Women!! I was a little young when it first aired but tried to catch all the episodes I could in syndication. Was devestated when they took it off the air. Oh and my first concert was 'N Sync! They were my boys back in the day lol.
New follower and thanks for stopping by my blog :)

  8. Hi & Happy Friday!

I am the same as you on #2, I must finish every book; it has to be really awful for me to give it up.

I have listed my answers here :) http://obsessionwithbooks.blogspot.com

  9. Happy Friday!
Love the blog layout (lol mine's the same :)

I also can't NOT finish a book. Not only do I feel bad for the author, but I also what to know...does it get slightly better? and I get attached to characters easily, so if I like a character, but hate their world or plot...I kind of have to keep reading for the character's sake. Thanks for following me! and I am now following you :)

  10. I'm the same way about finishing books. There's only been 3 books EVER I haven't finished and it's because it was back in the day before I decided I couldn't do that anymore.

I just feel like sometimes a book will take off later than usual or that the ending will turn it around. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

P.S. You can come clean my house in whatever order you want anytime! lol

  11. Hello! *waves* I'm new to FF, but I'm excited. It's been fun. =)

I actually just put down what appears to be a popular book the other day because I couldn't get into it. It's like dating... sometimes you're just not a good fit for each other.

    As for me...
    1. I have to have a list, or I can't go grocery shopping.
    2. I eat in order, meaning I start with one thing and don't move on until I've finished it.
    3. I have to read every night before I go to bed, or I won't be able to sleep.
    4. I'm a huge fan of anything Studio Ghibli.
    5. I collect Princess Aurora figurines and dolls.

If you want, drop me a line!

  13. This is a fun question. I’m learning so much about everybody and I don’t think most of us are as quirky as we think we are.

My quirks seem normal enough. As I wrote them I woke up to the fact a lot of my quirks create inner conflicts. I’ve got a lot to think about!
