Feature & Follow Friday....

Hello all, it's that day of the week where we learn new things about each other and discover new blogs along the way.  We also help each other by becoming followers of one another.  Normally that following would be through GFC (which would be great if you'd still take a few seconds to do), but with that being eliminated for certain blogs (a big boo-hiss to that) I now ask that you follow through a RSS Feed (or Twitter, FB, or email) which you can find to the right.  I want to thank all of you ahead of time who choose to become a follower and make sure to let me know in the comments if you're new so I doubly make sure to follow you back.  And now for this weeks get to know me question....

Q: What is the BIGGEST word you've seen used in a book lately - that made you stop and look it up? Might as well leave the definition & book too.

A:  I honestly can't think of a word that I had to look up.  There are some words that I might have to double check my spelling on, but none whose definitions were unknown to me.  Must be all that training I did in high school to compete in the spelling bee.  LOL!

  2. haha me too! I don't like to look up words because I normally can still understand what's going on by the context. Hope you have a great weekend :)

  4. Hopping by and followed you back! I had a hard time thinking of a word as well, the last time I looked something up in the dictionary was when I was in first year high school. :)

  5. I was topped in my tracks with the question, but finally realised the arc I am reading right now had more than one word foreign to me....Obsequious was my word.

  6. Nice! I think I've read so many books over the years that I don't really need a dictionary much either. I can usually infer the meaning of a word based on the context it's being used.

    Here's my Follow Friday

  7. I usually don't look up words, either. If there is a word I am not familiar with, I can usually figure out what it means based on the context.

Thanks for stopping by my Friday Hop. New follower.

  17. Haha that's awesome! For me, I honestly think I have a smaller vocabulary... But usually I can read the full sentence and figure out what the word means without having to stop and look it up.

Thanks for stopping by! New follower! :)
