Follow Friday.....


This is the day of the week where we get to know each other better by answering a question devised by our lovely hostesses Parajunkee & Alisoncanread.  We also gain new followers by joining each other's sites via GFC, so please let me know if you're a new follower since I automatically follow back.  And now for this week's question....

Q:  Go count the number of unread books sitting on your shelf. How many?

A:  Oh my, are you sure you want me to do that?  I have three floor to ceiling bookshelves and one half bookshelf.  So after a half hour of counting I came up with around 450.  I kid you not and I'm embarrassed to have that many books sitting around.  Thank heavens you didn't ask how many unread digital books I have!

    Holy tilido! Over 400 books! You better get spine craking, lol. I have around 50 that I hope to read before buying anymore... we'll see how long THAT lasts.

    That's absolutely crazy! Now I really feel good about my rough 50... But I also envy your number of books. My parents will kill me if I spend that much on books... But if I buy them secretly...

    Hello everyone and thank you for commenting! Yes, it's a crazy amount of books but luckily I won a good chunk of them or paid only 5 cents for. So the pile didn't cost a lot, but I do realize I'll never read all of them. I think that this summer I'll have a massive contest and give away a few boxes of books just to clear off some shelves.
