Book Release Blitz for The Stud Next Door by Kendall Ryan (REVIEW)....

Readers will find themselves charmed from the very start by this single dad romance, enjoying his slow slide towards HEA with a woman who might not want what he has to offer.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of The Stud Next Door by Kendall Ryan, along with my impressions of this third installment in the Frisky Business series, then add it to your bookshelf!

Life threw me a curveball. An adorable eight-pound, four-ounce curveball with her mother’s eyes and my dark hair. I’d like to think my single-dad game is strong, but honestly? I’ve been struggling a little.
When a beautiful young woman moves in next door and offers to give me a hand, I jump at the chance to hire her as a nanny. Jessa is amazing with my daughter. She’s also patient, kind, and way too pretty.
The number one rule of hiring a nanny? Don’t bed the nanny.
It’s a rule I intend to keep.
But as the days pass, I begin to realize how much my life is missing. Companionship. Romance. Intimacy. When I discover my heart has space for one more female, it’s a lost cause, another curveball. The hot-as-hell nanny is leaving soon for a mission trip to Central America. No sense in letting myself fantasize about Jessa being a permanent part of my life.
The closer we get, the more difficult it becomes to keep my feelings in check, because my heart won’t listen. And neither will my libido.
Well, you know what they say. Rules are meant to be broken...

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

Readers looking for a sweet and sexy romance will get just that with this tale of next door neighbors finding something more despite their plans for the future.  Low on angst and melodrama, but rich with heartwarming exchanges and full of charm, readers will be quickly captivated by this book full of heart and soul.

Connor's a delicious hero from the start, jumping in wholeheartedly to be the best single dad when fate drops a new baby on his doorstep.  He might've once been a player but he's been too busy balancing fatherhood, with manufacturing sex toys at Frisky Business, to do much else lately.  Into his chaotic world comes his sweet next door neighbor Jessa and though she starts off as his nanny she soon becomes something more important to him in this quick yet satisfying romance.  Connor's interactions with baby Marley made my uterus hurt as they were too cute for words while showing him as a loving and caring soul.  He and Jessa were combustible from the start and it led them from business to pleasure very quickly in scenes that gave readers more insight into Frisky Business.  They were a delightful family in the making...if they were just willing to change what was meant to be temporary into something permanent.

Jessa's a truly kindhearted heroine, someone that at first seems to be the opposite of Connor, before showing herself to be a perfect match throughout their "testing" sessions.  Readers first meet her as she becomes Connor's temporary neighbor before leaving in six months to do humanitarian work overseas.  It seems like the perfect opportunity for her to make money but it's not long before her heart becomes involved in a charming romance full of scorching interludes that brings the two of them closer together.

From the first page to the last this was a carefree romance with a good flow and virtually no angst.  The pace was fast with witty banter and both sweet and sexy encounters.  I'm not normally a fan of children in romances but Marley was endearing and was like a bow that made the relationship between Jessa and Connor even more satisfying and complete.  Alongside this likable main couple was the chance to get greater insight into the inner workings of Frisky Business.  Before this installment readers just got brief glimpses or discussions about the work being done.  Here though readers get to see the products being used and it made for crackling moments between Jessa and Connor that has me even more intrigued about the business and hoping to learn more about it in the next installment.  On a whole this romance provided a satisfying start to the new year and I recommend this tale to those that enjoy charming romances and scorching scenes!

My rating for this is a B+
