Exciting New Sci-Fi Series...H+: The Digital Series

Those who know me know I LOVE the sci-fi genre.  I recently discovered a creative new YouTube series created by the famous Bryan Singer that I have to tell you about as its topic is intriguing and the visuals eye-catching.  Once you start watching you won't be able to stop!

Set in the not so distant future comes this groundbreaking new series by acclaimed producer Bryan Singer, H+: The Digital Series takes viewers on a journey into an apocalyptic future where technology has begun to spiral out of control... a future where the world's population has retired its cell phones and laptops in favor of a stunning new device by Hplus Nano Teoranta, an innovative technology company that has found a way to connect the Internet to the human mind 24 hours a day.  One day disaster strikes as a computer virus puts the majority of humanity in a coma and only a lucky few are left to discover the truth of what happened and try to right the wrongs to save what's left of humanity.

With a cast of mostly unknown actors, except for Alexis Denisof (of Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and Angel fame), the exciting and intriguing premise of this digital series immediately drew me in with its big-budget opening sequence and heart pounding action.  Each episode is around 5-10 minutes and goes back and forth in time to show you the before and after effects of this technology as well as giving a deeper understanding of the character's personal lives.  The conspiracy theory is just starting to be introduced and I'm absolutely dying to learn more.  The flow of the story is smooth and focused and gives tantalizing tidbits that keep you coming back for more.  The acting is top-notch, the visuals exhilarating, and the theme is both timely and thought provoking.  With this weekly series, good things do indeed come in small packages, and I invite everyone to check-in for a new episode each Wednesday on YouTube.
