Book Tour for Sex on the Seats by Elise Faber (REVIEW).....

Readers will be drawn to this combustible tale of finding love when you least expect it.  Keep reading to get a tempting taste of Sex on the Seats by Elise Faber, along with getting my impressions of this fourth installment in the Love After Midnight series, then add it to your bookshelf!

I didn’t know what I was doing in a bar at midnight.
On a weeknight.
Certainly not sleeping, even though I had to work the next day. Definitely not open to talking with anyone, or trying to pick up a date.
Surely...not paying the least bit of attention to the beautiful bartender with gorgeous hazel eyes and a body built for sin. He’d flash a smile and the women around him melted. He’d chuckle and even I wasn’t immune to the silken way it slid down my spine. And I was singular. I didn’t pay attention to men (and yes, I said that as a filthy, four-letter word).
I existed by myself. For myself.
It was safer that way.
Then...he talked to me. Then...he flashed that smile my way.
Then he made me want a stranger more than I wanted my careful distance.
Oh. Hell.

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BOOK:

I've read a few of Ms. Faber's books in the past and found each an enjoyable read with appealing characters and steamy encounters.  Her latest book is yet another satisfying story introducing readers to two very likable characters, with mutually painful pasts, whose scorching one night stand ultimately leads to something more.  Along the way to HEA is a lot of push/pull courtesy of Dominique and her bruised psyche, a lot of wooing being done by the delicious Archer, all of which made for a sweet romance that made me smile as well as blush.

Not having read the previous books in the Love After Midnight series I was worried I'd be missing out on something here, but this book stands strongly on its own with a storyline that's familiar but satisfying. Sparks fly the moment bartender Archer sees the quiet but captivating Dominique at the end of the bar with even more sparks flying after their unforgettable night together...a night she wants to forget while he continually tempts her with more.  This is a perfectly imperfect couple with her having self-esteem issues from a past that weighs on her still, while he too is working through the pain of his past. These two become the healing balm the other needs though in a slow-burn romance that showed just how patient Archer could be when going after something he really wanted...and he made it more than obvious just how much he wanted Dominique.  From start to finish this was a quick read full of fun and flirty banter and scorching encounters. It had a virtually angst-free flow too that took me away from all the stressors of life for a few hours and is a story (and author) that I definitely recommend!

My rating for this is a B+

*I got this book from the author for review in exchange for my honest opinion.
